Once you pop you can't stop as they saySeeming as Pringles were mentioned Iβm going to have to open up a tube, Iβll leave someone else to drink the kopperbergs.
Damn you easily suggestable mind!
The only consolation is that you perhaps beat @Neil.T to the pun
Itβs annoying how often stuff like that happens. Did the security even bother coming over to talk to you?I bought waxing strips today and that set the b****y security alarm off
He was sat by the entrance where the security gate is. Some goods (like these strips) have a little "security patch" on them which is supposed to deactivate at the tillpoint, but obviously some of them don't. To be fair he did apologise (not that it particularly bothered me that much; perhaps having worked in retail you kind of see it from the other side as well), but it can be a bit alarming (pardon the pun) since it alerts all and sundry to the fact that you might be a thief!Itβs annoying how often stuff like that happens. Canβt say it ever botheres me if the alarms go off as I walk through them. It happens regularly enough (not me setting them off, them simply being activated) that I doubt many actually think the people setting them off are thieves. Tbh I just continue walking like nothings happened because frankly it hasnt, Iβve paid for my stuff and someoneβs either failed to remove or deactivate a tag. Iβm surprised the security guys donβt try stopping me though, it happened recently when I bought a suitcase. Anything could have been in it realistically. He was sat by the entrance where the security gate is. I used to work for a luggage concession years ago and a couple of people (on seperate occasions) actually stole my suitcases to use to steal other stuff!Canβt say it ever botheres me if the alarms go off as I walk through them. I have popped and stopped many times, although it was quite a struggle with self control. dark times thoseOnce you pop you can't stop as they say
Thankfully itβs not quite that hot over here. At a bit at a time is the only way to do chores, hate having them pile up and having to spend ages doing them in one go!I'm enjoying the start of some holiday from work; I'm off now until next Wednesday. I'm not going anywhere (I don't really enjoy actually going "on holiday" somewhere), but I do enjoy a nice break from work. I've got more holiday booked for the end of August too, and 8 more days still to book before the end of the year.
It's baking hot here though already! I really want to get some chores done today so I don't have to do them over the weekend, so I'll probably just do a bit at a time.
Have you seen the weather in Japan though? It's been declared a natural disasterIn a word... HOT
I'd rather spend the time getting things done; even if I don't finish it right away, if I can get a significant chunk done, then I'm happy. It just saves having to leave things build up unecessarily to the point where it gets out of hand - if you stay on top of things, you're not having to spend ages on other days trying to sort it all out!Thankfully itβs not quite that hot over here.
