The General Conversation Area

2/3 -pages open most of the time (not any more then that because I'm not insane) I work with my hands so sometimes I'm cheeky and post from my phone, but usually if I can I type from my own pc, using a real keyboard is so much easier

what? you didn't get that this thread is just one rolling bromance already? it's pretty explicit, that is if you have issue with brofists and man hugs. yes, women are included too (sismance? I have to come up with the name for female bromance)

EDIT: It will have to do for now, and it kind of sounds like something else - sistering

Thanks for that vid I am now walking to work in tears. You don't have to be cynical alone- hell I'm classically nihilistic myself on that anything in existence has no inherent value there's a good and bad to it

Everybody owes it to themselves to watch Maison Ikkoku at least once. If it doesn't have any emotional effect on you, for good or ill, that's how to tell if you are truly dead inside.

And eh, I'm okay not taking part in things as much these days. This thread becoming incredibly active again has made me realise I'm not the person I was when I could post away the days in a similar fashion to how you, Neil, Phobos and Cap are with Voddas, Tachi and Co. back in '08. In fact it's made me nostalgic in weird way and I'm not sure if it's a good way. Still, it does make me happy to see you guys posting away. Feels like a bit of an overdue changing of the guard honestly.

It's an interesting view; I guess there are material things especially that have no inherent value - I myself have had no issue in letting go of many things in the past, and compared to many people, I pretty much have the bare minimum. I mean I have a **** ton of art materials since it's my hobby, but as for things like clothes, I could probsbly fit all that I have in a medium sized suitcase...I have about 5 pairs of shoes. I'm pretty sure I should be Buddhist or something; I sure could do with some Zen wisdom in my life right now XD

Hey, things change over time, life is pretty dynamic in that sense! We become busy and engaged in other things, it's cool :) As for me, I came here looking for some interaction since I have lost friends and pretty much find myself with no-one to talk to (not even family and I live with them). I do post a fair amount, and sometimes I become conscious of it, but...I guess it's been so long since I've genuinely been able to escape from life and to just have a bunch of nice people I can converse with, especially when I'm feeling down (which is more often than not these days), and it just means a lot to me. I haven't interacted with you personally an awful lot, but you come across as an upright and honest dude who likes to engage in a good debate, and even as a newbie, I do hope that you still find purpose here and that you can engage in stuff for fun ^^ I think you're a cool dude :)
