The effects of 4chan on the mind...

I occasionally visit. Usually when there's something both subversive and at the same time hilarious going on. Those are my favourite 4chan moments (was the Wal-mart online photo printing scam 4chan? I can't seem to find it now). Really it would have been best if during the great splintering of the chans 4chan had also split into sick-chan and fun-chan.
 
I've not been on 4chan since September. My IP is banned (I share it with hell loads of people, so tough.) and I can't appeal against it, it says.

I'm quite surprised you go there, ayase. Not so much about Derfel though, I actually suspected it.
 
I'll make it clear I don't go there for the pr0n - I just enjoy the style of silly humour 4chan seems to specialise in. It's usually random while still being funny, which is something a lot of so-called professional comedy writers utterly fail to capture while trying to do random stuff (see picture above for a show which now illustrates this point perfectly). Some of it's even Python-esque.
 
i visited it lastnight....Just to see if the rumours are true...its more like comedy central than much else.
awwell...afew lulz and a load of insults....sounds abit fun i guess
 
When I had a looksee last night, someone posted a thread about a girl from the school of the OP who had had a miscarriage before getting with her curret boyfriend, who hates the guy who got her pregnant.

The girl and guys phone numbers were posted so that 4chan posters could text the girl about it because the OP pointing out the obvious and mentions it upsets her. A fair few did text her with some lovely comments.
 
I've lurked around 4chan for a few hours overall, I'd say. It's not a pleasant place. It's fairly indefensible to be honest, Lupus. And there's nothing worse than when 4chan-ers conduct themselves as though they are always on 4chan regardless of the tone or quality expected in different forums.

Speaking of which, I saw a thread with an obvious child porn image. Or, better put, a big image with a collection of child porn images all together. I could tell without even blowing it up to check and getting arrested for viewing child pornography.

It got 404'd after around 200+ comments.
 
That being one very good reason not to browse 4chan for porn.

Honestly though, don't they have 12chan for that now?

/e/ has become full of underage morons that think Kanokon is the epitome of ecchi. Bitches don't know about my Kekko Kamen and Golden Boy.
 
If I could respect 4chan for two things, then here they are:

1. Their adoration of cats
2. http://www.kenny-glenn.net/ - This. I can go as far as saying that I would kill a person if they kill a cat. But I guess I adore cats too much =P

Otherwise, they are pretty much a place of bastard.
