The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

* Fully expect Anime Limited to announce licences & Collector's Editions for at least 1 of the above at MCM Comi Com. ;)
 
I have made my first order on the Crunchyroll store destined for Stackry HQ. Thank you to all those that have provided helpful guides and tips on how to use the Crunchyroll store when ordering for Stackry (fingers crossed I have done it correctly).

From the CR store:

Beyblade SD Blu-ray
Beyblade V-Force SD Blu-ray
Beyblade G-Revolution SD Blu-ray

This was a pure nostalgia purchase and one I am glad I was able to make. As G-Revolution was out of stock and out of print, according to Discotek's website, I thought it wouldn't be worth getting just two thirds of the OG series. However, I checked the CR store this evening and it was there, so I took the plunge while I could.

Interestingly, I got a bigger discount when I checked out as a guest using the discount code "CRNEW", compared to checking out with my supposedly "MEGA FAN" account with 10% off.
 
Currently have The Apothecary Diaries and The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter in my eBay basket, trying to decide whether to stick with the Malaysian versions or wait for them to get a legit release in the UK/US.

Anyone know if Crunchyroll has given up on physical releases yet, leaving the Asian pirate market the only source of non-streamed content?

I'm hoping The Apothecary Diaries Blu-ray will be announced next month for a January release, since Crunchyroll just announced the Frieren Blu-ray this month for December, and those two series aired at the same time. If Crunchyroll skips over Apothecary Diaries on Blu-ray like they did Raven of the Inner Palace, I'm going to be super pissed.

The Crunchyroll Store has a “buy more save more” deal going on, so I picked up eight items:

Case Closed Sunflowers of Inferno BD
Case Closed The Crimson Love Letter BD
Case Closed The Darkest Nightmare BD
Case Closed The Fist of Blue Sapphire BD
Case Closed Zero the Enforcer BD
Demon Slayer - Swordsmith Village Arc - Limited Edition BD
Lightspeed Electroid Albegas SDBD
Mobile Cop Jiban SDBD

I fiddled around with adding some other potential buys but found that it didn’t really discount the other items anymore so capped out here. Most of these are Discotek titles that either went OOS suddenly recently (Case Closed titles) or shortly after being released. I picked up Demon Slayer as it received a nice discount and looks like I saved around $90 for the overall order.

Thanks for the heads up, didn't realise the Detective Conan titles were back in-stock.

I already own two of them so have ordered the others I didn't have yet, them being...
