Seems to encapsulate the frustration of being an anime fan in the UK, especially if late to the party with a show like Haruhi.

Can I import Blu-Ray - Yes and No. The series works, but the film does not.

There is a madman release of the film on Blu-ray, which is region B. But it's OOP and can be a little tricky to find, so I guess your point still stands.
