The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

Stackpacks are just awful (when they go over 3 discs at least). The Tweeny Witches one I got from PlanetAxel had the spindle thign broken when it arrived, so all the discs were just loose in the box. Puts me off the Sentai collections too. It can't cost THAT much more for the one with the flappy bits (which still aren't usualy that sturdy).

Amazing how many different releases this series has, didn't think it was really that popular?

After a bit of research I decided to import the Chihayafuru blu-ray vol one from Japan.

I really love Chihayafuru to the point where I could cry >.> That's my just justification for spending loads of money on it XD I regret nothing.

Woohoo I just got Toradora premium edition for $60. A little annoying as I saw it for $50 a week ro two ago and was too slow on the draw, but to be honest compared to some silly prices I've seen on ebay I'm pretty happy with $60.

Shame I'd already broken and had ordered the standard edition not long ago... :( May have to sell that on later.

Picked up Dragon Half, Corpse Princess full series and one of the volumes I was missing from Excel Saga (I now only need volume 5) for dirt cheap from CEX.

Trying to stop myself ordering anything else from amazon.com/planetaxel. Partiuclarly some of the newer bluray/dvd funi sets.

One Piece: East Blue Vols. 1-3 (3-in-1 edition) from Amazon.com for £14.91. No-one seems to be selling it in Britain any more. Looks like it has gone out of print.

Otome Youkai Zakuro

Towa No Quon
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood complete part 1 (It's a weak release with locked subs, but I decided I wanted to avoid completing the UK release. I'll just give my partial UK DVD set to a friend when the second US set is out.)

Do you have some kind of advertising deal with the retailers of Teesside, Ian? :p

Not that it's a bad thing to support you local shops, but you do seem to be consistently paying over the odds compared to what things would cost you online.

I suppose it was an impulse. I just saw them, I could them now rather than wait for delivery, so I got them. I know it is more expensive, but they're there, so I'll get them.
