I'll probably live to regret it, TBD having a way of getting my books to me damaged, but it was too hard to resist with the current 10% off code, which expires on the 11th. I felt I had to order something done by the mangaka after reading Harukana...

It only came out early this year and, afaik, isn't on the net. It only has 14 ratings on MAL.
 
Fabio and a sense of whimsy caused me to purchase all four UK discs of Kurau Phantom Memory today for £15. Another one which totally passed me by, but a sci-fi imbued story heavy on human relationships with a coolhot* lead just sounds too good to pass up.

I know I can't finish it off, but the cheapest R1 boxed set was £28 - way above the import limit and I imagine I can find R1 volumes 5 & 6 for less than £13. I prefer the UK cover art as well, which is near identical to the Japanese.

*I'm bringin' Newspeak back. You can help too (and probably annoy ilmaestro) by simply making up words out of two or more other words!

A wise choice, sir. I picked up all six discs and the art box from Right Stuf a while back, but really wasn't expecting much. So far it's shaping up to be one of my smarter purchases.

Oh, I agree with you on the UK cover art. The third disc is particularly cute ^_^

Awhile back, the same guy who linked to the Tenchi OVA set (cheers!) linked to FP's cheapo manga section. I got Eden 3-4, as well as 2-6 of OMG.

After finishing Tanpenshu, I want to see more of Endo's work. And, since I already own volumes 3-4, buying volumes 1-2 would be the best option. So, once I figured out find-book was lying to me, it was no brainer to order the first two volumes for half of what it'd cost to order Tanpenshu.

I have 29-30 on pre-order at Amazon for next to nothing. I figured it wouldn't hurt to use the code to get 28 for next to nothing, too.


If only I had more faith in TBD - I'm seriously tempted to use the 10% code for the first four volumes of MPD Psycho, and maybe 18-20 of FMA. Maybe even Gantz since only eight volumes are out. But... :-/

I never really had any problems and I just had 26 Goon Show CDs from them for my dad's Crimbo present and only once case had a crack which was probably caused by the post. I am now feeling a bit too skint to put the code to any more use. It's a bit annoying I get paid again on the 15th which is after the code runs out.
