I went shopping yesterday and bought lots of lovely manga including Viz's
Shojo Beat magazine
I couldn't believe it when I found a copy - I was really excited, like a big kid
I'm very impressed with the contents, not only do you get 6 individual stories, including the exclusive Yuu Watase story
Absolute Boyfriend, but there's a DVD with the first episode of Ultra Maniac, (and even though I have vol 1 & 2 of the official releases, it was still nice to get as a freebie) and also a sample of the Ultra Maniac manga, and as that's the only manga under the Viz Shojo Beat titles I haven't yet bought, it'll be nice to have a taster first before buying. The really good part of it though was the £4.25 it cost (quite impressed with the price).
The manga titles I bought were:
Kare Kano vol 7.
Prince of Tennis vol 6.
Cheeky Angel 4, 5 & 6.
Doubt! 2 & 3.
Honey Mustard vol 1 (been waiting for this one for about 4 months!).
Tokyo Boys & Girls vol 1.
Something I can't pronounce or spell, but it was vol 2 of it
Plus something I don't normally go for, as the author isn't Japanese or Korean, but German and won Tokyopop's Rising stars of manga comp! It's called Bizenghast, but when you see the artstyle, you can understand why I was tempted (and the story sounds good too!).
Plus through the post I got the final 2 volumes of POT on DVD
