The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

i've ordered the fifth Love Hina manga to help fill the gap in my collection - i already have 1-4 and 7-9. good old Amazon :D apart from that it's going to be a nearly anime/manga-free month while i'm getting my cash together for Ayacon.
 
Today i got the rest of my birthday presents i was waiting for in the post (except Fullmetal Alchemist volume 2), which included a Naruto and Sasuke model (smaller than i had expected, but still nice), a Fruits Basket artbox, a Fruits Basket art book, and my lovely Shigure plushie :D
 
i got the fruits basket ary box too. i love it. like the way they fit into it, its different then other boxs and well itd fruits basket so it has to be great :)

Cool a Shigure plushie where you get it from ?. I already got a Yuki and Kyo plushie and the missus loves them :D
 
My Big O: Complete Collection arrived this morning, I was expecting a mini-artbox but instead it's packaged in a space saving brick, perfect as I'm very strapped for shelf space at the moment.
 
Continuing the Tenjho Tenge theme, I got DVD volume 2 and the artbook this morning. Also, given the recent headaches amazon have put me through, they compensated me with a £5 voucher which was put to good use ordering Bleach volume 8.

Watch out, the 2nd series brick isnt even the same size as the first season one.
 
That reminds me, I really need to order the second series of Big O cuz I still only have the first and I forgot all about getting the second.
 
Today I got my first ever manga: Love Hina Volume 1.

As well as finding it better than the anime I also found out that it should be read from right to left, which was a great suprise tbh... I seem to used to the Western ways of doing things it seems :cry:

I really only read manga when I do read books, and I sometimes find myself trying to open normal books the wrong way now as a result. :cry:

My girlfriend has only just started reading manga and have diffuculty reading them at first. Sometimes I find myself trying to read a book or mag backwards.

I've pretty much always read magazines from the back anyway :lol: . I think everybody found it difficult at first, but now i find it alot harder reading Korean manga from the front
