If Animax's trouble with deadlines is because they're relying on subtitles from the US which come in late (as intimated a few times in the case of Wakanim) I wonder whether they couldn't just make the episodes available on time in Japanese then add the subtitles later when they're ready?

I know this is only going to appeal to the minority of people who don't mind raws, but Kodansha(?) used to put untranslated Japanese previews in their manga to get people interested in what was coming next and so long as it's clearly labelled it cannot be any worse than constantly being late.

I'm much less depressed about this season now that Crunchyroll has added all of those new boxes to their lineup.

My main issue with Animax is that it being owned by Sony means that they're blocking us from getting Crunchyroll. Sure, I have a US PSN account on my PS3, but for the Vita it means I'm left without.

Yeah the Vita is said to be a pain after they did an update that forces Memory Cards to have only 1 account (originally it was multiple).

It was quite recently actually.

In total 127 episodes, spanning two seasons, are available for Inazuma Eleven, but it’s unclear how many Kix TV currently have, however what we do know is that Kix TV will begin broadcasting the series on Tuesday 1st July 2014 at 8am, with new episodes shown everyday at the same time, with the same episode repeated again at 7pm.

These same episodes will be shown again on Saturday 5th July and Sunday 6th July at 9:30am, which is straight after Dragon Ball Z Kai, with additional episodes shown at 7pm, thus acting as a re-cap before new episodes are shown.

Yeah the Vita is said to be a pain after they did an update that forces Memory Cards to have only 1 account (originally it was multiple).

I always had to use separate memory cards to switch between my UK and JP accounts for Vita (a problem I have since solved by buying a second Vita, which is not something I could recommend for everyone). It was an annoying enough process that I certainly wouldn't have done it just to watch an episode here and there on Crunchyroll.

What's wrong with it? We get Sailor Moon Crystal and we can even pick between 12 different subtitles instead of using the good old "everyone in a country only speaks one language" model. The information has been provided in advance, it's a simultaneous worldwide broadcast and they've given a proper idea of timeframes for the free airing so people can plan in advance. I like this.

You can like it if you want but being stung to watch previous episodes and being locked out of another stream of the classic series given CR is right there only sounds like my idea of a fun time if my goal was working myself up to an aneurysm.

Well, I already own all of Sailor Moon and will be getting the US BDs as an upgrade, so I don't really care that the simulcast of the new series isn't bundled with a new stream of the old one which I'll never have time to rewatch in this busy season ;p

It would be nice if someone would negotiate streaming for the long-running Toei shows over here. We'll never get them all on DVD at this rate since the UK can't really support it for old stuff (thanks, BBFC), but they're definitely missed.
