You know, for all those people who like to start with episode 2...
Animax's model was for the free simulcast to be up for only a small period of time before having only the subscriber version - the opposite of Crunchyroll.Buzz201 said:It seems they haven't even got the problem right, they should have been made available as free simulcasts this week. It looks like the problem is Animax set them up to expire after a week, when they should switch to being free simulcasts, but Animax forgot to set the free simulcasts up, so they just expired.
Weird, their site seemed to suggest it was he other way round, and all of the videos were locked all of last week.reborn said:Animax's model was for the free simulcast to be up for only a small period of time before having only the subscriber version - the opposite of Crunchyroll.Buzz201 said:It seems they haven't even got the problem right, they should have been made available as free simulcasts this week. Yeah. The chapters were reportedly on the illisit sites though. So yeah, GG CR.Buzz201 said:It seems Animax's incompetence is spreading. All of Crunchyroll manga has been down all day, for what is apparently "scheduled maintenance". You know, the kind that they don't tell people about, and happens hours after the most recent episodes of some of their biggest titles went, or were supposed to go, live. That kind...

Didn't Gundam Rec G start off as an Animax simulcast, then Viewster picked up simulcast rights as well or something weird like that?
Either way, there's no excuse for Animax to be as behind as they are with Overlord and Rampo Kitan. Even if the simulcasts started late, Rampo Kitan came from FUNimation, so they're probably just re-encoding and uploading. It's not that difficult...
I think the important question here is will your simulcasts each new season be on @viewster still?
All the Anime We certainly will be. This changes nothing! They're still our pals ^JG
