Just curious but where did you order that from? Since i'm considering getting the general SFIV stick, but all i find is pre-orders for it

I ordered it from Gamestop in the US, they are pretty much the only place so far that has shipped early, or even seems to know what their shipping plans are at all. There is much confusion in the UK over where will actually get the stock they thought they were getting for preorders, at least in the first batch - even the Mad Catz store itself doesn't know!Arbalest said:ilmaestro said:\o/ I received my Tournament Edition stick today. Damn, I really, really can't wait now. My buddy in Japan picked it up too, and I've been looking at vids on youtube of other people who have grabbed the Japanese version... and I still have to wait eight days. ;_;ilmaestro: You will love this

Depending on the character you have to hold the first direction for about 1.5-2 seconds to "charge" that direction, and then hit the other direction + an attack button to get the move. There are various "tricks" to playing charge characters, though - for instance, holding down/back charges both down and back, and you can move the pad to up/back and that would count for a down-up move, but you'd still keep your back charge for a back-forward move. You can also "hide" your charge by, for instance, holding back while your character is jumping, or while you're in the middle of another move (say a couple of crouching punches) to allow you to use charge moves in combos.
ilmaestro said:Technically it's "up + mk" BUT you have a degree of leeway in how close together the up and kick buttons are pressed. So if you press up, then kick slightly after it's ok. But if you press kick and then up slightly after, you will just get a crouching mk.
ilmaestro said:That's her new target combo, you don't need to charge the down-up motion (you might know that already, but I thought I'd mention it in case). I'm not 100% sure on the timing of that combo, as it is brand new for SFIV, but I would guess that you can just input the three things pretty much as quick as possible and it should come out as long as the first b+mk hits.

You can't actually do the move unless it's at the end of that three hit combo, so I'd say you have to do it fairly quickly after the second mk. But other than just trying it with as many "different" timings as you can, I don't know what to say. Try using the analog stick if you're not getting it out on the d-pad.

 d00de. You think I haven't tried the analogue stick? I spent AGES just pumelling away trying to do that combo. I tried it facing L/R, with D-Pad/Analogue, you name it, I tried it.
With any luck il get a chance to play it tonight; and i'll see how I go then.

Ah the folly of being impatient  You've got about a week before FAQs for this start appearing those will be your best bet if you haven't figured it out by then
