Street Fighter IV!!!!!!!!

I ditched C.Viper for Cammy. Cammy is pretty win but the only downside is that online I can't get my max potential from random Ken hadouken/shoryuken spammers. It felt so good when in a final match I ultra combo K.O.'d one. FELT SO GOOD.
 
Sucks ass. You guys get time to play this game. The 'big' TV that the Xbox is wired too is used 90% of the time, 9% about to be used, and that 1% left I get.

ahhhhhhhhhhh i see. heres ur problem rite here.... during that 90% u walk up to the television and press the button on the little grey box beside it then sit down and enjoy. if u start to here i high pitched whining noise u simply **** in there eye. during the other 9% u simply **** in there eye so they are unable to actually watch tv. the remainder 1% they will be cleaning **** out from beneath there eyelids.

p.s. ive unlocked all the characters YAY.... and did u no u can get through the entire game with dhalism just by tapping medium kick over and over again... serisously try it, youll get about 5perfects on easiest

That used to be my tactic on the early street fighter games :p although from time to time i used to mix it up with the high punch button :lol:

I'm only missing Gouken and Seth now, going to be doing some training with Akuma though to get back into the swing of things.
 
i have a cheap ass strategy myself... playing as ryu, jump, kick to the head, mid kick, low kick, jump behind them with a kick on the way and repeat... the only person it doesnt work on is zangeif because once u land infront of him he does that cheap ass grapple EVERY ******* TIME
 
Right, gotta ask, but apparently There was an alternate costume pack released on marketplace yesterday, but there is no sign of it. Basically put, when are we supposed to get the alt costume packs? i would have thought the same time as the US, but obviously not.
 
Oh my. Seth is a wanker (I'd use stronger language but it seems as though someone is going around censoring bad language). Seriously, who at Capcom thought it a good idea making him the cheapest, spammiest boss in the history of fighters, a genre infamous for its cheap, spammy bosses? And playing the game on the 360 controller is a hideous experience; the sooner I get my sweaty, trembling hands on a fightpad, the better.
 
I use a 360 controller just fine, adapt get used to it.

One match on Normal+ to beat Seth. It's easy if you just keep grabbing him.

EDIT: Abel cheap? Have you heard of Zangief? Oh lawd. Double Lariet spam is the worst.

does the fight stick actually make a difference... because to be honest im f*cking crap at this game... online i only win about 1 in 4 matches and i really wanna get better... street fighter is so different from other fighters.

I'm certain I've seen this on the marketplace, downloadable for 320 points. I have it from a code on the Collectors Edition, but I've definitely seen it separately, too.

Have you checked "all new items" or whatever that option is in the game marketplace?

I did, but i got my answer from gamefaqs, we're getting them later, the femme fetale one for us comes out on friday, then i think the next on the 2nd, then 7th and 13th. Not sure if there is another after that.

Also query time. I'm trying to do C.Vipers 3rd normal trial, and i can't manage the seismic hammer cancel, any tips on that one? checked the videos so i know what its meant to be like, but no idea exactly how to manage it.
 
SH cancel: hit any two punch buttons <i>immediately</i> after hitting the f,d,d/f+p motion for the SH. So think of it as a double tap on the punch button that you're going to be using, only you hit another punch button as well on the second tap. You can also use the shortcut of d/f,d/f for the dragon punch motion, if you like.
 
You can also use the button assigned to PPP for the Seismic Hammer Cancel.

Crimson Viper is awesome, incidentally. She's definitely my favourite of the admittedly underwhelming bunch of new characters.
 
@Ilmaestro: Thanks, got her 3rd done now.

Also those videos certainly helped, a visual aid on what you're meant to do works wonders, i've got cammy, ryu and ken all completed on normal now, and i'm trying to get Sakura done on normal as well, but failing fairly badly on her 4th. I'll get it though i hope. Its not as bad once you figure out the timing part of things actually, but the hard ones look to be fairly hellish.

You're so right, it hurts. I don't think I'd be enjoying the game half as much without her.

Hell yeah!

I downloaded SF turbo remix HD from the PSN and i must say...long live the old button bashin ways! i'll buy SFIV when im next in town....and the Dualshock controller IS indeed far better than the 360 controller.....i have both ps3 and 360....and i prefer the feel of the ps3 for most games....gears 1 and 2 are excellent on 360 though
