Overseas Rightstuf Xmas Sale 2016

Haruhi is very tempting at that price, how do rightstuf ship anyway? I assume I'm going to have to deal with customs? HxH is also pretty tempting too....

As a side note I see AoA stuff is included in this sale, am I being a complete dreamer hoping for Fate/Zero sets getting a discount? lol I actually forgot they had their reprint already....

Unless things have changed since I last had money, TRSI ship using a third party delivery service who will use Royal Mail for small parcels and Parcel Force for those over Royal Mail's limit, so you're very likely to have to deal with customs (though some packages can sneak through depending on routing/luck/size). Best to budget for it then be pleasantly surprised when you get away with it. Shipping is expensive but everything is usually well packed and their customer service is excellent if you have any issues. If they could nail down a better shipping solution for international customers (I really, really hate Parcel Force) they'd be my #1 source.

Last thing I ordered from right stuf was Code Geass LE. I was expecting customs but I didn't as the parcel went through Sweden first and then Royal Mail in the U.K.
 
Yeah, I ordered Haruhi from them when it came out and also wasn't taxed on it, despite the value being over $100. Hell, I think I remember no one on this forum at all getting taxed for it.
 
Damn, Haruhi is very tempting at that price.

There's no telling whether you'll get hit by customs or not with Rightstuf packages. As Rui said it's very much down to luck. The most expensive package that I bought during last year's sale slipped through and the one that went over by $5 didn't.

Rightstuf is very random with customs. A lot of the time it gets through without any issue, while others get caught. The more items or size are included in the package, the higher chance of getting caught.

As for Fate/Zero, it's looking to be possible given we have big sets like Durarara!!, Kill la Kill and now Madoka Rebellion being discounted. I hope to see Monogatari next, though if Fate/Stay Night is listed then I'll be up for that.
 
Looks like the Suzimiya CE was incredibly limited, all of them seem to have gone.

Hasn't Zero only just been reissued? I'd be surprised if that happened so soon.

I think Asendia is owned by Swiss post.
Rightstuf has used Asendia with my previous orders. I have had no problem them, but they are kinda slow with tracking updates.
 
This is the first time that I've seen that particular message. What would usually happen was that I couldn't track the package anymore as soon as it left the US. It would just give an estimated date of delivery.
