i know i should use the internet but it defeats the purpose of getting them to watch them, i support the industry and as a fan i get the dvds then watch them,

yeah, but thats a good thing if you think about it, it means anime is getting more attention

Just means that someone donated their anime collection, or had it donated by a family member....I picked up my tin set of Evangelion from oxfam actually.

What's the general consensus on a viewing schedule this time? Based on past experience, one ep/day might not be the best way to go.

One ep per day is borderline suicidal based on previous threads, I agree, but I'm not sure the best way of coordinating the discussion otherwise. Two days per ep? (not the most imaginative suggestion, granted)

I tried watching the whole thing in one sitting....ended up just watching the first 2 discs before giving up. That was enough for my poor ikkle head :/
