No I'm not ....... I like RPG anime like slayers ( which is my favourite ) I'm just saying Dragon half is ........Well .........it was silly......

Maybe I need to watch it again

Ok it was funny yes it was funny I had a giggle there and there.
 
EBITEN

This is a parody anime and there's a few series you might recognize like

Dragon ball z
Kon
Haruhi
And a few others

But in this they doin it well and the story gets better each episode with cliches from different shows.

Pretty good 7.5/10
 
Aquarion EVOL - 8.5/10

For me this has such a strong and likeable cast. I absolutely loved Yunoha and Andy Warhol, he actually reminded me of Kamina so much. A very silly, grand and hilarious mecha/romance show.

Berserk (1997) - 9/10

First time viewing of this beauty and it was stunning. Guts is such a bloody beast and I loved watching his relationships with Griffith and Casca develop. I was gutted with the ending and did a little reading of what comes next, to the Manga I go.

Anyways........

Love election and chocolate

Well I enjoyed this.......To be honest I thought it was going be about
a guy who was surrounded by girls and the he'll choose a girl
and to be honest I was DREADING it .......but as the series goes on we see quiet a few things go on-

1 the main male trying to be come president to stop his club being shut down
2 we see the basics on how elections are done.
3 we see a few back stories on a few characters
4 Discrimination against scholarship students
5 corruption in the student council
6 and so on its all over the place

The story is something of seen before but at the same time it's sorta unique in a way.......I just can't explain how tho.

The characters are likable
The animation looks nice and clean
The story is good

This isn't something big but it's an enjoyable series in my opinion and I'm glad to have watched it.

Wolf Children

It’s not so much a fantasy tale as it is a very touching drama chronicling a widow’s struggles in raising her two children, who just happen to be half-wolf. Of course this condition – for want of a better term – lends itself to various moments, some dramatic and some jovial. The demise of the husband, for instance, is a gut-wrenching ordeal for Hana whereas for the Sanitation Department it is a mere nuisance. On the lighter side, a domestic emergency leaves Hana fretting over whether to consult a GP or a veterinarian and you the viewer can only giggle and think: “Yes, that would be a problem.”

Then as the story progresses, the children start questioning their identities. And here crux of Wolf Children’s main theme – the fear of not fitting in – comes into play. In the city there was no way they’d be accepted as they are, but in the country there is much more scope for them to be who they are, but even so should they embrace their wolf heritage or aim to be “more human”?

It is a lengthy tale, this movie, yet no less compelling for it. It runs the full gamut of emotions without overdoing any one of them. In fact, the scene where the children frolic through the snowy landscape should be a textbook case on how to depict unbridled joy. The ending may not necessarily be the pat wrap-up to be expected from a one-shot movie production, but it does offer a sense of closure in that it suggests everyone has no regrets about the choices they have made and that the family bond will always be strong.

A fine 9/10 it is then.
 
Kanon...........

To start I was hesitating to start this series after hearing how it's like air .........all sad and what not and I kept putting it off and a few days a go I had the resolve to watch it and after finishing it...........OMG this was a goodie I cried I had a laugh I was in shock and I enjoyed it all.

It's a about a teen who goes to visit his cousin and ante for a while and he for got about his time when he was there 7 years ago and back then he had several girls who he was friends with but he has forgotten them and each has a sad story and he tries to help them out as much as he can.

I cried at ep 10.......watch it and you'll see why.......And yes there's loads of sad moments in this but ep 10 had me crying rivers.

I'm sure my mum would like this

Piece of art that everyone should watch

Trinity Blood

This...was nonexistant. After watching Black Blood Brothers and getting a sense for the world and the whole set up for the Kulong/Vampire/Human dichdomy there this just throws random words around for the fun of it and leaves the visuals to pick up which would be a fair enough plan if not for the fact that it's Gonzo at the mic and that never ends well.

Plus I'm entirely convinced Vampirism is human made and you have to be very very careful about that sort of stipuatlion and I have no faith in Gonzo to do it right.

Naruto Shippuden Movie 3: The Will of Fire

A fairly decent Naruto movie :)

There isn't really much to say about this movie. It's pretty much the same as every Naruto motion picture. Naruto waffles on about friendship (well in this case His "will of fire"), someone is in trouble and/or needs help (in this case Kakashi) and Naruto and friends come to save the day with a big battle at the end. Although i kind of Enjoyed it this time round. The animation was superb and the fight scenes were aplenty. I also liked the villain character designs aswell. They looked a little like gimps lol but it was different. I will admit though, i wish the Naruto movies would change. Maybe give it a darker tone and not give a happy ending. It would be grim, but it would be different and and unexpected.

Overall. Not the best Naruto movie, but a darn good one anyway :)
 
Clannad first season

Ok this series is beautiful the animation is really really nice.
The characters are all likable
The stories of the characters are done brilliantly
The emotions in this series is unbelievably good.

I think the only thing that was wrong with this series was its slow pacing in the beginning.

Unlike kanon and air which feels like your playing the novel while watching them...... clannad doesn't feel the same as the other two, but that doesn't mean air and kanon is bad. But on the other hand you do have-

the ghost girl
The trimmed one
The Tom boy
The twins
The genius

So I guess it's not far from the novel.

The build up in this is good all 23 episodes is all build up for after story and it does its job well.

I also liked the 24th episode where it's the main lead and another girl he's going out with....... the tomboy and its a fast pace episode but done good.

To be honest it's not my type of anime.........but I won't argue that it's worth being one of the greatest anime series ..........but this is only the first season but as for it being the first season......o give it a ........

9.5/10............. the slow pacing is what stopped it from getting a perfect score
 
Cowboy Bebop (Blu-ray)

Cowboy Bebop remains every bit the significant work it was when last I watched it in 2002. The seamless blending of genres – of which Film Noir, Blaxploitation, Heroic Bloodshed and Sci-fi constitute but a handful – still holds up today, as does the Cocteau-esque approach to character exposition where character backgrounds and relations are implied rather than explained.

But right now I don’t want to talk about any of that because leading up to my viewing session, I had completed the latest round of upgrades. These included a new AV Receiver (a Sony STR-DN1040, in case anyone’s curious), and new speaker cable (QED Silver Anniversary XT for the fronts, QED 79 Strand for the centre and surrounds). How would these new additions perform with the remastered Cowboy Bebop? Well, the shoot-outs, space battles and aerial battles sounded so much better in that the bass was so much deeper and the overall sound so much more all-encompassing. The benefits can best be experienced during episode 5’s climactic church shoot-out, and also the whole of episode 20 (“Pierrot le Fou”).

So, Cowboy Bebop...

As a series it’s lost none of its verve, its must-see status. As a blu-ray it can be considered reference material in terms of AV performance, which doesn’t hurt either.

Go! Go! 575

So here we have 4, 3:30min long episodes in this tiny series and I really can't say a great deal about this series.. It can be summed up with the normal Cute girls doing Cute things... But for what it is, its pretty fun little series and the characters are likeable... I'm guessing this series was to advertise the Project 575 game :D


I guess if you want to waste 14mins on a little slice of life comedy, this would be worth giving a go.

Hmm.. Going to give it a 7/10 just because its short and sweet but could have more :)
 
Clannad/after story

-_- what can I say about this series.......It finishes and leaves just like that, leaving me with soooo many emotions and making me feel like iv been abandoned by this series..........What I'm trying to say is that this series is thee -

greatest anime iv ever seen ever.

Omg this series is soooo freaking awesome I couldn't stop watching it it had sooo many scenarios with loads of emotions and.........

SORRY about that but OMG i haven't seen an anime like this ever and to be honest I wasn't all that thrilled to start this series because I thought it was going to be a romance anime with love triangles and stuff like that and that's what I was expecting and I didn't want to get it on DVD......but in the end I did get it on the UK releases and the reason I got it was because it was a UK releases ( don't ask) anyways I knew I'd had to watch it one day and had it in my back log for probably a year or two I can't remember but I do remember getting it a long time ago anyways.........

I thought I'd start watching kanon which is also like clannad and air and...........I liked kanon I had a cry there and there and enjoyed it alot and after finishing it I was on a roll and decided to watch clannad and ...........good god I'm so glad I did.

I'm watching the movie now and it's not as fantastic as the series.

The series has loads of tear jerkers and scenarios of that to every day life which I won't dare spoil and you'll have to find out for your self and experience it for your self but it doesn't just give tear jerkers I laughed too at the comedy.

Clannad and after story is now my favourite anime of all time along with kanon and should be watch by all even if your not a anime fan everyone should experience this wonderful series.

The one thing iv been hearing about this series by other people that some didn't like the second half of the second season ........which I don't understand why could someone explain why I'm not saying they hated it but had some sort of problem with it, but I didn't see anything wrong with it.

Ok both seasons starts off slow but I can forgive that because I see it as character development and getting to know the characters more.

I can't recommend this series enough it's so wonderful.

For a grand total score of

12/10

No :P I genuinely didn't like it at all. The characters were all generic moeblobs, perfectly crafted to tug at your heartstrings and nothing else and the plot was so cheesy it was cringeworthy.

I thought that Clannad was markedly better than Kanon and Air (both of which I find completely unwatchable). Clannad at least had Nagisa's dad, who was awesome.

Oh come on kanon is somewhat as good as clannad and air I thought the opening was a masterpiece and is good in its own right but the second half of air was like......What? Why? A bird? But the movie cleaned that up but the animation wasn't as good tho.

Nagisa and seana was both brilliant I love these two...... I wish there was a series about these two there sooooo funny
 
Whips? Oo-err ;) I still stand by my original sentiment that the writing is just "Here's a box of puppies being kicked, now cry, bitches." I'd much rather watch anohana. And besides, I thought you hated romance?

Given that I really don't like Clannad, I have no inclination whatsoever to watch Kanon and Air, since the general consensus seems to be that Clannad is the best of the 3.

Yes I do hate romance......but the romance in this isn't the main focus .......I mean yeah there romance between our main protagonist........but it's not like rumbling hearts or peach girl or sazuka ect....but instead it's focus is on sad every day moments like * do not read if you haven't seen clannad and after story*

our main protagonist realising that he's father was a hard working loving parent and he didn't see it.
He's friends moving on with there lives and he doesn't see them that often
He's wife dying
He child dying and him self dying from grief
Two other girls crying over the fact that they don't have a chance of getting there man
Two best friends sticking together no matter what
Our main protagonist realising that he shouldn't be a asshole around his daughter
And so many others

This is the reason why I love clannad yes it has romance but it's not the main focus of the series with love triangles and I'll steal him away and stuff like that and only that but it has loads of other scenarios that makes you emotional ............hell I'm sure if you was in a scenario like in clannad I'm sure you'd be crying and would understand cause you'd be seeing what happened to you.

Clannad has made me feel more appreciative tomy parents and I'm sure there's something in this that would put you in these characters shoes.

You clearly have a heart made of stone ^_- ( wink)
