Rate the last anime you watched out of 10

Yeah, Chaos Head, think I've got about 3 or 4 more episodes left. What the f*ck is this show? It's naff. Shame as the English Dub has some noteable VA's that I'm a fan of.

It's like it's trying to be a mix of stuff I've already seen. Sort of Ah! My Goddess, meets Freezing meets Paranoia Agent. Shove off! Gotta finish the series now though. I can't not.

Peach girl

As you know I hate romance anime and that's all it is.........sure you have funny moments like sae and she does come off being a bitch but she kinda becomes good near the end.

I didn't like it because of its just all romance.

6/10

Ah Peach Girl has been something I've been pondering.

I need something in my life like Ouran High School Host Club again. I've just not found anything like it. Tried Ah! My Goddess and yeah, just wasnt my "pick me up" cup of tea that Ouran was. Still liked it mind.

Once I finish Chaos Head, I can't decide whether to watch Sekirei seasons one and two or Samurai Champloo. They couldn't be more different.

I attmpted Black Lagoon yet again a few weeks back, just cannot get into it =/ might have to sell it or something. Shame as the opening is BOSS.

I will never understand your scoring, AF. 6/10 for something you didn't like...

It's just scoring...........besides even tho I didn't like it doesn't mean it's bad to others,

I could watch something that to me is horrible but is a masterpiece to others

The thing is that I didn't like it and gave it a bad score because romance anine isn't my thing.

Pupa - 3/10

Piss poor 4 minute episodes that felt like they were still too long.

Space Dandy S1 - 8/10

Some very hit and miss stuff here, but it ended on a brilliant note with the beautiful robot love scenario. Tears were shed for my favourite hoover QT. That music throughout was perfect on this final episode.

Samurai Flamenco - 8/10

Seriously stupid show, including numerous moments in the finale. That being said, I loved the saturday morning feel of it all and the bromance with Sam Flam & Goto-san.

Kill la Kill - 9/10

Got to say this was an excellent show in the end, it came together very well. It's nowhere near as fantastic as TTGL but I did get some feels from the ending. Great action, great T&A, great music (especially OP2).

Kill La Kill 9/10

One of the best anime shows that I have seen in recent years, generally very good in all areas and there is a minority of shows you can say that about.

Hajime no Ippo Rising 10/10.

A must see for all the fans of the franchise, I just cant understand why dont they make a longer series with so much manga that there is out there. I guess profit must have to do with it and make different series might be more profitable... or maybe I am just day dreaming.

Anyway, to all of those who never saw Ippo, you dont have to look box at all, I dont like it at all, but this is much more that boxing, this has action, lots of comedy, a bit of drama sometimes, and the characters are very good. I will be waiting for the next series maybe in 2 years lol

Just for those who dont know, the manga is coming out since 1989. Yeah its that good. :p

The reviews on it have made me add Kill La Kill to my list :)

Finally finished Chaos Head. The story was wtf which is a shame as the first disc started off pretty well. I could not tell you what the Noah machine in it was etc. Shocking.

Kenichi: the mightiest disciple
7/10
A fairly decent, if flawed, fighting series unfortunately brought down by the crappy first 26 episodes

Ever since i saw Baki The Grappler two years ago, I've been wanting to see animes that are fairly similar. one that kept coming up was Kenichi The Mightiest Disciple. So i thought i would give the show a try. If i'm going to be perfectly honest, The first 26 episodes were pretty awful. The story wasn't that interesting, the characters had very little personality, the fights were just slightly above average and the humor was extremely lame. Almost all the episodes consisted of Kenichi training, which the show was trying VERY hard to make funny. How many god damn episodes do you need to show him training?! Fair enough you need to develop the character up to show that he's becoming stronger, but CHRIST! The only redeeming factors about the first 26 episodes were two of the fights: kenichi vs Takeda and Kenichi vs Hermit (on the bus). They were pretty decent fights.

The rest of the series was MUCH better! There was an actual more interesting story, With the Shinpaku alliance against Ragnarok, Kenichi was more likeable, It introduced more intriguing characters and the fights were more fun and aplenty! It was like watching a completely different show! The only bad thing was Odins reason for wanting to fight Kenichi. All because Kenichi beat him in a fight for a badge when they were young? Really? That's his reason? Over a feckin badge? That is hilariously stupid

Overall, While Kenichi does have a much better second half, it isn't worth watching the first half to get to the good parts. If you want a good fighting/Martial arts anime, go watch Baki The Grappler, Shoot fighter Tekken or Hajime No Ippo.

Kill La Kill
It's pretty good but it's not perfect by any means. The middle was a drag and whilst I didn't mind it, The switch in antagonist from Satsuki to Ragyo comes of a somewhat contrived to some extent.
That said, as a first swing, this is a pretty good series from a green studio.

Aye

Black Blood Brothers
Not too bad. It's a crying shame that this is a setup for something that's only going to be resolved via the Light Novels but for an opening act it wasn't awful. Heck the one conceit that could come off as an asspull was set up prior to the reveal as it pertained to our protagonists. Wouldn't mind seeing more things from this world but that's life I guess.

Tekkaman blade series

To start off its a aged series but it's pretty good........ sometimes it really drags on like they was trying to prolong the series when they didn't need to and there was times where a scene was rushed, they could of at least Put more effort in to those scenes where it was needed instead of putting what seems like filler.

But aside that the series wasn't that bad and it has what feels like traditional anime, it has a guyver feel to it too.

Animations aged but not alot
The characters decent
The story even tho it drags on its pretty good

I had to take a brake half way though...... Tekkaman blade 2 was pretty good too.

7.5/10

Dragon half

This is probably the most cartoonish anime iv seen in a long time it's like slayers but 1000x cartoonishly stupid.

5/10

 This must be one of the lowest marks I have seen you give (and it's an anime I like as well).

Well here's why,

It didn't finish it's story
It was too silly for my taste
And if seen the RPG THING a hundred times

If I remember correctly Dragon Half was created before Slayers (definitely before Rune Soldier) etc
So, it was the one who started the whole 'RPG thing'

I get that but everyone has there tastes and Dragon half being the first RPG animes isn't to my liking yeah it has funny moments but it's just too silly cartoonish for me.

Lupin the 3rd bye bye lady liberty

Classic lupin............stealing stuff zengata tries to stop him and ends up trying to stop a evil organisation.

8/10 very fun to watch lupin
