Rate the last anime you watched out of 10

but that won't have the extra ep, something this series bloody needs. There's tons of characters they could expand on, most of who would be awsome. Imagine a TK ep, that would be mad epic.
 
Ah yeah, the extra episode. That is crazy far away though, I don't want to taunt myself thinking about it. :( Fortunately, I don't see them stopping releasing Angel Beats related goods any time soon, so I will just have to keep on buying those in the meantime!
 
just finished watching Bleach season 2, 7 out of 10.
Excellent for the most part, funny, things explode cat's a hot chick, but by the God Emperor are they long winded.
Going to watch season 3 now :D.

Either you have no idea what loli refers to, or you don't understand what is meant by borderline.
Using the standard english fandom definition for loli:

To be borderline loli, it must either contain adult content (i.e have mosaic censor & 18+ rating) and the character must be borderline (e.g Kanon (game)) or the character must be loli and it must be borderline as to wether it's adult content (e.g. Kodomo no Jikan(manga))

There's no loli in DtB 2 although the female lead is young, I don't remember any remotely sexual content with her. I still hated her character for being an annoying little pink haired girl tho'.

Bruataly styalistic in both animation and writing: great adaptation.

Animation 10/10: SHAFT and they fixed everything for the BD
Characters 10/10: Nisioisin+ VOFAN. Brilliant voice work, good designs
Setting 7/10: Another school, but one done by SHAFT so there's the odd kinetic sculpture,and infinatly long spiral staircase about. It's all about the dialogue anyway.
Music: 10/10: Varied and good OPs, brilliant ED
Plot: 10/10: Nisioisin, not his best but the writing is still fantastic.

Now we await the decent version of EPs 14 and 15. And please let someone competant licence this.
 
Now just finished watching Bleach season 3, 7 out of 10 again i think.
Was surprised when they reached something almost like a conclusion!! But not. Still thought it was really cool, poor Uryu.
Going to watch Gunparade March now.
 
Gunparade March. I'll give 6 out of 10 for that.
Sweet, but found it hard to feel motivated about the characters until around the last 4 or 5 episodes.
Still quite liked it.

Also watched Sky Crawlers last night, 7 out of 10 for that.
Looks great, would have prefered if they could have spread the explaining out a bit rather than in 2 big chunks.
That teacher plane looks awesome. Is it just me or did the opposition aircraft have a British world war 2 look to them?

MANLIEST. ANIME. EVER!!!!

Everything about this anime was epic. the animation, the story, the character development everything. It sure is an uplifting show and Kaminas words of wisdom were so cool, Chuck Norris probably looks up to him.

All in all, I thought it was a great show and is now my most favourite mecha anime

And in my oppinion, Its better than Evangelion. OH! i went there!
 
Gundam F91
Better than i was expecting, but that wasn't difficult as wasn't expecting much. The plot was almost generic gundam plot 1, noob falls backwards into a gundam and gets the girl and saves the world. Only real issues were that it was very difficult to place in any time line as certian thing fit in with some time lines and others worked better either as a stand alone or as part of some time lines. Second is that the female lead is dumber than George W Bush, and most of the others arn't much better.

Meh should rewatch the orginal MS Gundam, then some of this UC stuff might make sense. Or not. Well to be honest the first almost 3/4 was fairly decent, Gundam Plot 2 (gundam gets stolen, sod the death toll we are getting it back)
Problems occur right at the end with such a wallbanger of of and ending that makes no sense even taking into account Gundams usually rock bottom opinion of women.

fate/stay night the whole series 9 out of 10. it was well paced with great characters who didn't annoy me. shame it's over now but it is highly recommened!
 
Hopeful if you can i would suggest taking a look at Tomino's Crossbone Gundam manga, as its pretty much F91's sequel, Cecil does get smarter in that one...plus its got a pirate gundam in it what's not to love?.

Have you considered watching maybe Votoms or something instead? You're posting a lot of Gundam reviews, but it doesn't sound like you're getting much out of it.

Just reviewing what Lovefilm send me, but yes not getting as much as I'd hope for out of the Gundam franchise which is a shame. All the right elements exist, but no one series has managed to combine them all properly.
Best three have been Gundam seed (but it suffered from a rushed ending, and to much recaps and stock footage and a really bad sequel) 8/10 the original Gundam ( somewhat dated, and the who newtype contacting dead people bugged me for such a real robot series) 8/10 and Turn A gundam (which bar the mech and ship designs had nothing to do with gundam)
As for Voltoms, i have just downloaded it, and will watch it when i get a chance.
 
Yeah, I've not yet seen Turn A, but I do like the look of that one.

Seed, I didn't care much for though. There wasn't anything especially bad about it, I just didn't feel that the story did anything I wasn't expecting. The girl Flay annoyed the hell out of me as well.

I did rather like the increasingly ridiculous 'next episode' taglines in the dub though. Hearing the announcer spout things like, "Rise from the fires of hell, Gundam!", was quite amusing.
