Cyber team in akihabara

This is a oldie anime and to be honest ever cliche is in this series

Magical girls
Friendship
Bla bla bla

Villain of the week sort of thing.

But it had loads of symbolism in it which was cool to see.

And OMG THE patapi are sooooooooooooooooooooo adorable I mean really adorable so adorable that I felt like crying.pee pee pee pee just soooo cute.

It isn't a bad series

If you like symbolism
Cute things
Magical girls
Oldie anime

Then this is for you.

Sometimes I was a little bored with it sometimes but when the patapi came on it was just so cute to see them

Cyber six

This series is like a cheesy cheap cliche cartoon from the early 20s......

Bad guy of the week
Evil genius
Take over the world
The hero is a girl
Funny over the top villain

I mean really it didn't feel like a anime, just a rip off cartoon.....It didn't do anything for me.

Thanks to Dannielle and Joshawot for encouraging me to watch more. Certainly better than I thought it was going to be after that 1st episode. Oh how the tone shifted and it told a very good story. Might even check out the movies if they do ever make it over here.

Btw, how good is that song that plays on the menu (well it was on the 3rd disc anyway). It played in the more serious parts of the anime. Hope everyone knows what I am talking about, haha

Blood C episodes 10-12. Why oh why did this only get good at episode 11! Sort of makes me feel that what came about in these two episodes should of came about episode 5 instead!

What did you make of the violent bits?

Also, the twins - the twins!

The violent bits were cool. I felt awkward with the legs being pulled apart on nene or nono but maybe that's a girl thing lol.

Violence in Berserk still ranks number 1 of all I've seen so far. Another has to steal 2nd place tbh because of the way it was executed and whatnot, very masterful and stuffs, this takes number 3.

I don't think it should of constantly been violent though as she really should of protected some people instead of letting them violently die as it made me dislike her not keeping her word hahaha.

Would you recommend Blood C? I've had the Movie on my shelf since last summer but haven't bought the actual series yet due to getting average reviews from most people.

It's pretty mediocre if you ask me - I'd probably go for a 6.5-7 out of 10. The plot is pretty garbage, as is the characterisation - though it looks pretty, has strong action and the character designs themselves (by CLAMP) are lovely. It has a great OP theme too. So yeah, very much a case of style over substance in my view.

It's probably worth seeing for the violence though if that's your thing - it's definitely up there with Elfen Lied and Berserk when it comes to that.

Yeah that's pretty much a summary of what i've heard which is a shame. Is it at least fun and enjoyable to watch? I don't mind if the plot is bad if the show is fun to watch like most harem shows lol. Tbh i haven't watched Berserk or Elfen Lied yet (even though they're in my backlog) so if the violence is part of the fun i might give it a go if i can pick it up super cheap.

I wouldn't say it was 'fun' to watch - but it's certainly not the worst thing ever. It gets better in the final couple of episodes, so if you can slog it through to that point you'll probably enjoy it, there's a pretty good pay-off at the end. It does tone pretty well too - if you like to watch stuff that has a lingering sense of dread to it.

Blood c.......

The main character is sooooo annoying and stupid it's just soooooo unbearable to watch her...in the series.

But it's a masses improvement in the movie

It's ok though because she likes eating pink marshmallows that feel like a kiss (always found those scenes really creepy tbh)

I'm like seriously what the hell was I watching ....talk about a crappy series.

The last two tho was brutal.....I mean God sake man the leaders a freaking psycho path

Michiko and hatchin

Bravo bravo very well done anime.

This was a really really good anime and I really mean that...it sort of reminds of of black lagoon...but maybe just as good.

It takes place in I assume Brazil .....And I don't know what brazil looks like in real life but if it looks like anything that's in the anime.........then God forbidden anyone and God save the people living there.......hell the place where rock and revy work and live in black lagoon looks more liveable then where this anime takes place and that's saying alot.

Anyways it's about a girl named hana and her mother escapes from prison to get her and they go to find hanas father and its quite a trip and how people live in Brazil and and such............

The settings are great and original.

The characters are something out of black lagoon...which was fun to watch.

The animation fits the settings perfect

The story isn't a big masses thing like most anime iv seen but it's good non the less.

Ep 4 was a up setter to me.

The rest of the series is great....It's far from being a masterpiece but I still like it all the same.

Best part is there was little to no Japanese references in it ...I mean there was one or two but nothing that was too distracting.

I give this piece of paradise a

9/10

Thanks AUKN Twin hehe :)

Will keep an eye out for a decent price as it was BluRay I spotted so could not get. The artwork was pretty.

So, Waiting In The Summer. Not what I expected, not bad but not good. I just wish for a change that they could keep a story normal instead of having the main girl be from space/another planet or whatever. I thought it would be more like Kids On The Slope for tone of story so I'm a bit gutted. Saying that the art and look is gorgeous and I am enjoying it.

Subtitles though, yeah I'm most definitely not a fan. The amount of dialogue and dialogue occurring simultaneously makes keeping up with the subs frankly ridiculous. You're reading subs then the first line disappears and becomes someone elses dialogue. Truly grim, do not enjoy it but trying to not let it ruin the anime for me. Dub all the way. All you Sub lovers have a lot of patience for that. Not knowing the language, when more than one persons talking I have NO idea which character is speaking based off what I'm reading.

Anime story when I can focus 7/10
Enjoyment based off subtitles 4/10
