AX Day 2 Recap
Kodansha Comics
Kodansha Comics announced a few additions to their catalogue. For starters they have acquired the manga version of Clockwork Planet. The original novel was written by Kamiya who wrote No Game No Life. The manga is due for English release in 2017. The anime adaptation was also confirmed to be green-lit. Next up we have Kazuto Tatsuta's Ichi-F: A Worker's Graphic Memoir of the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant (ICHIEFU: Fukushima Daiichi Genshiryoku Hatsudensho Rōdōki) which will be released as a single omnibus version on March 7th 2017 (a few days before the anniversary of the Tohoku disaster). Ichi-F stands for the numerical designation for the Fukushima plant. The final manga pickup they licensed was Atsushi Ohkubo's Fire Force (En En no Shōbōtai) due for this fall, the creator also made Soul Eater. Kodansha Comics also picked up the Attack on Titan Adventure book which contains Interactive/Puzzle elements based on the story.
For digital only readers Kodansha Comics have also added Noise! by Tsutomu Nihei (Knights of Sidonia) which was once out of print but now available to read on ComiXology. In addition 4 titles from the Del Ray publisher will be added to ComiXology at the end of July; Alive, Nodame Cantabile, School Rumble and Princess Resurrection.
Sentai Filmworks
Sentai Filmworks didn't announce any new titles to their catalogue but they did offer confirmation for seven titles getting the English dub treatment; Amagi Brilliant Park, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Gate, Himouto! Umaru-chan, Is it Wrong to Try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon?, Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls, & Ushio and Tora. Expect some of these to be part of the November schedule.
Vertical
Vertical have announced only one title for their time at AX and that's the Nisemonogatari novel. The first part of two will be available on April 2017 (about 2 months after Bakemonogatari's final translated novel is released so it's quite a fast turnaround).
Other Notes
Sunrise have reported that Code Geass Blu-rays are happening for North America. Signs point towards Funimation going to announce it eventually. And during the SAO panel, they have confirmed that Sword Art Online -Ordinal Scale- will be released in theaters in Spring 2017. A new trailer was also shown:
