If I'm correct, it was more to do with Viz angering Naoko Takeuchi regarding the booklet with Sailor Stars Part 1. particularly involving Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune (although if I'm correct, Toei originally made that error).

Surprised to see LBX Girls there and at the full price of the others... I felt like I was one of the few that watched that low budget show, can't imagine anyone wanting to buy the BD especially at full price of other shows.

Seems to be a usual single cour 24 minute episodes series so the price doesn't sound too farfetched. Also good to note that a series' budget isn't so easily judged from the visual quality. Even ufotable is known to have rather average budgets despite their high quality.

I haven't watched that one, but the reviews I've seen painted it as forgettable junk. Seems like an odd pick for a limited edition. I guess any isekai is considered a safe bet for sales?
Full Dive is a Kadokawa series and from the Cautious Hero author which had helped as well (I noticed as of late that the Kadokawa titles tend to get the LE treatment more than others in recent years for Funimation).I haven't watched that one, but the reviews I've seen painted it as forgettable junk. Though I will say that out of all of the isekai & VRMMORPG type anime I've watched (which this series files under the latter like BOFURI and Sword Art Online), Full Dive is an acquired taste due to the treatment of the main character. I did enjoy the series but it's definitely not recommended for everyone. Basically imagine Deku getting wrecked by a very old FROM SOFTWARE game done in VR with Kirito as a guide mocking you for playing it in the first place.

I guess that's on brand for me then, Cautious Hero amused me but it was forgettable and I have no desire to rewatch it

I think complaints about shonen are interesting considering it's a demographic rather than a genre. Would be more accurate to say action (or action shonen) when talking about series like My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan.BD release but it's not a shonen or isekai so it'll probably never get a release over here
Just pretty funny to me since shonen covers shows across many different genres like Bloom Into You, My Hero Academia and Nichijou.
