I have a few Japanese series released in singles, like this Little Witch Academia set, which at 9 has the most singles for a series in my collection, Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and 2202 with 7 each plus some movies, Gundam Origin with 6, Akito the Exiled with 5, and all 24 of the Studio Ghibli digipak singles if you want to count those as a "series", but the majority of the Japanese releases I have are in box sets of 4 or less. But yeah, whether the series comes in singles or in box sets, you still tend to pay about the same price per episode - around $20-$25 US per episode, or $250-$300 per 12-episode.cour.
 
Madman has de-listed Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Part 2 from their website and their December 2020 releases list on their b2b website. I've checked the list for January 2021 releases, and it's not listed.

In terms of BDs, the only ones available on their website are the complete sets of Sailor Moon R and Sailor Moon S, the movies of R and S, and Crystal Part 3. Sailor Moon SuperS Part 2 and Crystal Part 1 CE are also listed, but have noted as out of stock.

As for DVDs, the ones remaining are Sailor Moon Season 1 (Part 1 SE and the Complete Collection), Sailor Moon R (Part 1 CE, Part 1 SE, Part 2, Complete Collection and the movie), Sailor Moon S (Part 1 SE, Part 2, the Complete Collection and the movie), Sailor Moon SuperS (Part 1 SE, Part 2 and the movie), and Sailor Moon Crystal (all 3 parts).

Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Part 1 is unavailable on both formats.
 
Apologies for the double-post, but regarding the de-listing of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Part 2, AlexTenshi (on the Blu-ray forum) has informed me about the schedule changes page on the Madman website, which was updated 2 days ago, and as for Sailor Stars Part 2 and the SuperS Complete Collection, the new release dates for both of them are "To Be Advised".

Pity there is still no mention of the release of K-on complete that was scheduled in Febuary and then removed.

Rightstuf have responded to the Gundam SEED situation. The long story short is that owners of the Ultra Edition will be able to request the Blu-ray version of the HD Remaster without charge once it's done QC etc (which is expected to be completed until after the holiday season).

In addition, there's no need to send off or destroy the broadcast version so in the end you will have 3 versions of Gundam SEED (Original Blu-ray, HD Broadcast, HD Blu-ray).
