advice to chaos:

Go for it mate. if you feel strong about someone its always best to let them know how you feel.

(my mate ben waited 2 years to ask out "the girl of his dreams" and was turned down.....wouldn't of wasted the 2 years of false hope if he'd just asked her)

She is a friend of a friend of mine and we met at an animecon... But she also leaves in another country... we chat on gtalk every once in a blue moon...

Thanks mate =) Even when we lived in the same country, it was about a a3 hours flight from where I live to where she lived...
 
the things people do to see people they feel so strongly about.

(yes that includes me..i live in luton/bedfordshire just above london and used to travel down to brighton and then from brighton catch a train to eastbourne to see the girlfriend. used to do that every saturday for about 6 months. it was a 4 hour journey to there and 4 hours back, and the best bit.....i don't regret a second :D)
 
I know what you mean, but ouch, ain't that expensive? =)
the company I worked for at that moment used to fly me there once in a while and sometimes I was able to see her, but I don't believe in long distance relationships...

Even though I have several friends who actually got married through internet.
