this is the opposite of the *least favourite character! thread

vash from trigun- hes funny, lovable and stupid at times and i love the fact that he won't kill anyone

sabastian from black butler - hes kool, calm, a gentleman, a good look fella and hes one hell of a butler

alucard from hellsing- hes a badass vampire

aptom from guyver i like the fact he hates the guyver but he would help out the guyvers friends and i love his power

iv got others so il tell ya more later

Hmmmm, not got a huge number of favourites, although there are various characters I like.

Lawrence and Holo are obvious examples; also rather liked Revy in Black Lagoon etc.

Pazu from GitS. Although this is probably just part of my long-running desire for some sort of neo-noir yakuza series.

Also Kei from the Dirty Pair, on the grounds of me being a sucker for action-heroines with enormous '80s hair.

Yeah I like Pazu too, its a real shame the series ignores him and the guy with one eye for the most part. The episode he did get in 2nd gig was very good though, from what I remember.

Yeah, even in as strong a series as the 2nd Gig, I think Pazu's episode stood out for me. The woman stalking him was both creepy and eerily believable.

- Kakashi from Naruto. Seriously, if the show was called "Kakashi" instead, it would be a bajillion times as awesome.

- Edward and Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. It's absolutely impossible to say which one of the brothers is my favourite, but they do always come as a pair so. Also, FMA as a whole is badassery.

- Kyubey from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I find Kyubey to be extremely fascinating.

I agree with Kino - a real enigma (The best part about the show by far is her characterisation)

And my list:

Anita King (RODTV)
Nausicaa (The manga version!)
Lain (Serial experiments Lain)
Sakaki (Azumanga Daioh)
Rekki (Haibane Renmei)
Leona Ozaki (Dominion Tank Police)

-Hanamichi Sakuragi (Slam Dunk) - Not that far into the series, but I can safely say he has risen to the top of my favourite characters list, one of the best Shonen Protagonists ever!

-Rin (Usagi Drop) - Best Anime Kid!

-Ho-kago Tea Time (K-On!) - Cute Things are Cute! (Same with So Ra No Wo To)

-Light Yagami (Death Note) - He may have killed a few people, but he did have a strong sense of Justice over his actions, I Preferred Light's Death Over L's Death Because it was in a way just so traumatizing and Light literally believed he would win and his plan was flawless and to see him just lose it like he did was such a moment to witness

Killed a few people!? By the end of the show it was probably in the thousands. Within the first few days he'd filled... I can't remember how many pages. Jack the Ripper killed a few people, Light Yagami essentially committed mass genocide :p
