just wondering if I could post something from our discussion on art?
just a small little piece that I thought you might be interested in seeing.
 
oh yeah so anyways when we were on the discussion on abstract art, I thought you might like to see this:

This piece was created by Ernst Gamper, who has been creating the bands cover art since the beggining of their carear.

Whether you noticed or not, he's painted on a clear sheet of plastic, which is then taped to a window. The eye was then left clear, so the setting sun can peer through it, giving the persepctive that her eyes are glowing to the music.

I won't denie that you are good at art, but don't you think the stuff you draw is a little too exposing? Sure they're nice to look at, but I feel you can get further if you mix up a little if you know what I mean. I really liked your art on the last page,

Mix it up-- as in more fine art as opposed to anime art, or just cover the characters up with more clothing? :lol:

The deal with things now is, I do nothing but fine art at college; painting and all that jazz, and I draw anime at home only-- because otherwise I'm just burning time away from what could be college work.

Explainage. :p

Personal taste I guess, some people like to draw chibi's, some catgirls, and some furries etc-- it's just what is the most interesting to me.

Not that I haven't done other stuff, but this is the bulk, and probably will continue to be. :wink:
