Kurogane's Crappy Art LOLLERS.

Btw, I never commented on the request you did for me here, I like it and it's pretty awesome, though she seems too much like Motoko's sister. =P

Some new stuff:

I drew this with finerliners and markers, so I had to add some filters and effects to smooth things out. XD

Some more non-anime works:

1. Life drawing (fat chick, with nasty national geographic nipples-- I sought the most retina-safe view.)
2. Result of the expressionism painting (anyone guess the feeling? )
3. Still life painting of a load of crap that was setup last week (acrylics)

Lovin the fat girls hair, really great feeling of depth to it, and that last one looks almost like photoshoped, great work.

Well, the contrast was changed slightly to get rid of the camera's flash, but other than that it's unchanged. XD

I like the bottom one of the still life objects, the tone on the model head (assuming thats what it is) is pretty nice. :)

Bit of both really, because the head had been painted red, in a very retarded and random fashion.

and thanks! =D

Interesting experiment, something Ive been meaning to try, painting on the jacket looks great, though she does look slightly misproportoned, but Ill let you away with it.^^

It was actually really fun to do; new experience and all that polaaaaaaaaaaaaavah.

Proportion is a nightmare, even when you think you've got it right you haven't. So, it's best to make it deliberately wrong... in certain areas... as we can see :p

Kudos though for trying different mediums! It's come out quite well!

LOL

Although I prefer drawing and sketching, painting is somewhat more relaxing, but can stress the f*ck out of you if something doesn't go right, then you spend ages correcting things D:

Yeah, proportion is tricky. I tend not to notice how skewed something is until a few days later when I look back on it thinking "huh, thats kinda wrong...".

A good waqy to check your proportions or skewing is to simply hod the picture up to the mirror, can be frightening.^_^

I hold mine up directly to the light and you can see the reverse image crystal clear.

It's honestly scary how much you don't notice after a while.
