Haruhi Season 2 soon enough?

I haven't watched the second series yet, but it seems like this was the worst decision they could have possibly made. No matter what reason anyone gives for supporting or despising this "Endless" arc, one thing's for sure: a significant number of the fanbase are severely pissed off. They've taken the cash-cow that is Haruhi and tipped it over. On top of the time people spent waiting for this series, how many people are going to want to buy DVD's full of repeated footage, especially the way they sell them in Japan..?

Surprise Surprise...this weeks episode is....
...the same as last week! Looks like 8 episodes is entirely possible now. I wouldnt be surprised if this killed the series (i cant see them shifting the dvds to be quite frank, who would be stupid enough to buy basically the same episodes??)

Seems like they were really trying to do something avant garde and unique to create a talking point and maybe even more interest in the show when in fact all this move has done, while interesting in concept, has alienated everyone except the extreme die hards. I wasn't a big fan of the show to start with but I did find it entertaining enough for a one off watch. I just dropped it.
What's funny is that apparently in Japan they are planning on selling these episodes at 2 per disk at about $50 each. Brilliant.

It could have been interesting if there had been some decent variation or they had gotten some good comedy out of it, but it's mostly just the same stuff from different angles with light bloom and soft focus filters applied. I imagine the animators were just as bored making it as the viewers are watching it.Sy said:

I didn't understand that post Ayase made linking to DailyMotion till now... I want to know if the ratings are decreasing, or what? KyoAni seem to be trying their hardest to not getting people to watch the show. Putting it during the original series, not announcing an actual second series, bad viral marketing etc.

If you really know then spill it, it would be a world exclusive for AUKN. Anyone can say they know how it ends, they have to make it known before it does end in order for it to be proved they're not a bullshiter.Sy said:I've been told how it ends. Though technically they already changed bits of the story already so it may even be a different ending

Basically yeah the whole thing is down to the fact that They never made time to get homework done, so the two weeks kept on repeating itself. Its rather sad i must say, the chapter is shorter than a lot of them, and yet they decide to just show it as 6+ episodes, it is, to say the least, stupid. At most, it should have been 2.
