Count to a Million

Heh heh. Hurry up and finish it Panda, then we can discuss. :p

@Black - I should have noticed really when it didn't have a group, just "fansub" There's also another one which claims to be a Hong Kong DVD rip (but it must be a bootleg as it's never been released in Hong Kong) which on further inspection... is exactly the same thing.

Don't tell me this is my only choice to watch it in English.

13694 its all part of the original authors plan to turn the manga into the Sasuke manga, where it follows Sasuke wacky hijinx in trying to stop his full emo side taking over :p

No offence to those who enjoy the manga and its latest arc just that i recently dropped the manga for the time being (Bleach is next unless Tite can finally take us back to the ichigo fight...i mean he's been missing from it for so long now i'm sure we could file a missing person report)

@Ayase is there an english dub though :? I was under the asummption that it was never seen stateside (in other countries yes, i think it was relasesed in spain)

The series I have ruined the most for myself has to be Naruto - thanks to wikipedia, I now know what happens up to chapter 380-something, where I found out about a major plot point that I really didn't want to know about and I haven't looked since! Lesson learned there :(

Well I'm just going to pretend I never read that spoiler on the battle head...
*scew up face and ruffles his hair*
Woop!! Only 10 mins left. I finish at 4.30 today :D

EDIT/ I'm off work untill the 04.12.08 so My appearance in these threads will be few and far between I'm afraid. Will be poping in to say hello like. ^__^

@Black - The US dub really Americanizes it though, changing all the names and cutting out violence (and obviously breast missiles - repressed yanks). Mazinger is called "Tranzor"

In fact they love Mazinger so much in Spain they have a Mazinger Z statue! I hope someone finds it in a thousand years and starts worshipping it. Along with the Gundam statue in Japan it could form a new Mecha religion!

13698 it seems anime in general took off a lot more over there i can remember going over to majorca and almost every other shop was selling something to do with anime (hence why i was introduced to DragonBall before i even knew what it was)

Of course a Marzinger Statue takes the biscuit  hey better then worshipping an unexploded bomb  Tranzor eh? I wouldn't bother then, but it adds to the list of anime that america took and converted, Macross, GoLion etc

EDIT: Oh and Gatchaman of course :p Also a mecha reglion that would be fun

Have a good time Voddas, and see ya monday Panda. :)

At one point Kouji also says "Don't look down upon me, I am not your rival." That really needs to be a new forum catchphrase.

13703  lol that may actually be good for some of the members here to hear that, but so far this new mod reign has gone well unless people are making a consious effort not to argue meaning that soon we'll slide back into thread wide flame wars :(

13704

Too early to tell, I think. But threads are already being locked and moved, so I think if people do start anything it'll be clamped down on. There's a big difference between debate and argument, and I imagine the line will be more easily visible with active moderation.

No-one likes flame wars... but we can all enjoy Fire Wars ;)

13705 i actually sat and watched that whole concert on youtube :p was fairly good, and there was 4 MazinKaiser related songs in it, (Fire Wars, Mazin Kazin, The Gate of Hell, and the ending theme which i can't remember, farewell something or other) actually i quite like that band, and turns out they do most of the Super Robot Wars songs as well

and someone made a really good AMV to one of them

That was a well done AMV. Fire Wars is still my favourite I've heard so far. They're not the usual kind of band I'd listen too, but they have a style that somehow really goes with giant robots.

Well Black, time for me to call it a day. See ya Monday (if not before) ;)

13707 to be fair i think most of the music they've done as been for giant robots, (the two female singers of the group did the scrapped princess op) but yeah c'ya later dude :)
