Well.... not having a late night tonight, Getting up Saturday and stripping all the wood out of bathroom so it can be plastered. Alsop probably put a base paint on the front room. The house is having a make over and we're living in a right tip at the moment lol.
Saturday night I'm having a lads night in. Just drinking and chillin as you do. Then Sunday will be the day of rest... no plans there. ^__^

I've always been a Nintendo buff myself. Got a Wii like. Enjoy playing on it but I don't take the games seriously. I've always been a PC gamer. I love PCs (geek) and I love playing games with a mouse and keyboard.
Final Fantasy 7 is definately a great choice of FF game you should start on. I've completed it about 5 times since it's release. ^__^ It's my fave, as it is to many others too.
(I played it on PC as it didn't come out on Nintendo

Playstations are definately a good console like. I have one actually. Was a gift about 6 months ago. It was so I could play Guitar Hero and FF12 (as they were only out for the PS2 at the time).

I've finally got sick of waiting to see if nintendo would ever get their hands on the series, and so we got a second-hand PS2 off ebay (ha ha still not giving any money to the evil corporation that is sony). I heard that 7 was the best game to start on, so I've got that and I'm going to work up from there
You're right about not being able to take the wii games seriously. There hasn't really been any decent games that you can get your teeth into since the new Legend of Zelda game, which is a real shame.
I've always got my DS, tho. Still quite enjoying that!

Wait what was that about Wii games? Metroid Prime 3 was a serious game :cry: Though the majority aren't but that isn't Nintendo's fault :wink: Its all economics really, developers can make a quick turn around with minigame collections, like wise with adaptions from PS2 games. If they bothered to put the time and effort in i reckon there would be a lot of good Wii games.

That's true, with some effort there woud be a lot of good wii games, just a shame no-one wants to put in the effort.
Ever since I started gaming I've supported Nintendo, and I get annoyed that this means that you miss out on so many great games. So we finally gave in got a PS2, and I think an XBox 360 is in the pipeline for next year

When i started gaming i was a proud Sega supporter..and still am in many ways i'll never get rid of my Saturn, depsite all the nasty things said about it. Though i did have a Game Boy for journeys (with the required Pokemon games as was the time ) I eventuallly picked up the majority of the other consoles, 360s are a good choice but you'll hear some strong opposition to this from other members :lol:

got a £20 Topman giftcard from everyone in the office
and tomorrow i'm gettin up....tidyin the house....and then me and dad are going to the co-op and buying 2 crates of beer (stella and carlsberg) smirnoff, shots, samboooooooookaaaaaaaa, :thumb: i'm setting back £100-£150
then going and picking up laura. heading back to mine and getting changed. by this time were talkin 7pm. everyone will turn up and were all off to one of the nicest local pub/restaurants with the best carvery you could ever dream of
then having afew drinks. everyones heading back to mine where were all goin to have drinking contests. joking around and generally having a good time and also playin ps3 so it'll be one hell of a night. some might not find that cool....but im the oldest out of my best friends so i'm the only one able to legally drink. so its the best thing really
