Manga author Rei Hiroe has <a href="http://13xs.blog93.fc2.com/">announced</a> that he is planning to end Black Lagoon’s hiatus and start the manga again. He also admits to nervousness stating, "Though I'm dying to draw, I'm scared to actually draw it. If it were not this hard, I wouldn't have had to take as long as two years off."
<em>Synopsis
The Black Lagoon saga begins when Rokurō Okajima, a Japanese salary-man, is kidnapped by a mercenary group named Lagoon company which consists of three American outlaws named Dutch, Benny and Revy. By the end of their journey he is a member of the crew and sinking deep into the criminal underworld of the fictional pirate port of Roanapur in Thailand and other real-life locales such as Japan where he meets a colourful cast of characters.</em>
