Oh, been debating this one once I saw they have the original series available.

Is the original series good? I only ask as I hadn't even heard of the show before this shows announcement.

Really? On a per-volume basis, Black Jack is the best selling manga ever.

That said I haven't read it myself so can't actually answer your question.

I should have re-worded it. The links are available but they're all under a Premium paywall. Given the site changed things around there's really no way to tell if they were still accessible unless someone has a membership. I figured the new change would make them US only from now on.
