AUKN Meetups: Have we actually had one?

I'd possibly be up for meeting up at one of the London conventions, would be good to have some company as i've never been to one before.
 
Japan Matsuri today and tomorrow, Entertainment Media Show today and tomorrow, MCM Expo later in the month and Hyper Japan in November. Londoners are spoilt for choices of events =) See you around

Did you visit the Matsuri today? As vapid as the ceremonial aspects were, it seemed most popular with expatriates and passers-by alike. London mark-ups were in effect on most products vended, as one could expect.

Was pretty good seeing everyone again, and new faces too. Obviously had chaos and reevo up with myself and maxon for SLA again, but we also had Professor Irony and Vivisqueen here too. Our forces are slowing getting bigger every year. Also got to meet st_owly yesterday as well, albeit briefly. Kind of felt bad there too, since we where jumping between films so i only got about 20 minutes to really say and and do that socialising thing, so next time i'll at least get some more time to chat.

Oh of course, although we saw him before, we did actually speak with lawrence too for the first time at this SLA, so that takes us to 8 here. Was a good time overall
 
Lawrence - did I meet you too? Were you the manly tears guy?

Zin5ki - I'll be there on all days, I guess. Although on Saturday I might have some interviews to sort, so I'm not yet sure about when I'll be free. I should definitely be free by four....
 
Aha, I've seen you then. And I assume you saw me too. Japanese guy who came to talk to Arby and Reevo at the signing queue after Berserk Q&A.

I'm sorting out the logistics right now as I type... Trying to organise other things for next week at the same time so it might not be possible, but I should know by tomorrow if I can make it. Hopefully I can.
 
Double-posting to say that I won't be at Leeds tomorrow unfortunately. Was just too hard to justify - if I'd been able to sort out a couple more things I wanted to do in and around Leeds for this week I'd have come over and stayed a few nights, but sadly it was not to be. Hope those going enjoy themselves though.
