Ok who used to do this-

When I went to hmv or virgin mega stores or any place that sold anime or music, when there was a DVD and was the last one I would always hide it behind another DVD til I come back to get it
I did that with Borders. If there was a manga volume I wanted, I'd hide it behind Chibi Vampire (because no one bought Chibi Vampire).

I've actually done both of these...I think the DVD issue was with Rahxephon, went away to have a think about it then came back and bought the last four Volumes I needed.

Manga it was Shaman King but I can't remember which vol number it was.

i was looking on how a few of my orders were on UP1 and 2 of them are *items held* , whats that mean

My guess is you asked for certain items to be sent together. Some are in stock and are therefore being held to one side until the rest of the order arrives. You could ask them to send those two items out now if you want although if you split an order in two you will end up paying 2 packing charges (50p per order shipped).

You know those blueray/DVD combos well you know how theuly stick the information on the out side of the packaging and on to the plastic raping I really hate that,

I would of put this in the don't you hate it when .......... Thread but I couldn't find it

i ordered King of Bandit Jing Collection (Hyb) (Thinpak) but UP1 said they cant get it so i have 24 pounds to blow and im looking for a series thats exactly or under that price anyone got any ideas of which title i should get

I haven't bought a single dvd or manga from a brick and mortar store for over 18 months actually just cos from where I live going thru the not in stock, will order for you, return to store bit gets kinda expensive and that's before you figure in the generally lower costs of places like Amazon.
I know it sounds bad but I don't miss that in a good way.

Hey guys thanks but iv got other plans for it. Its going towards paying back my mam cause out of the kindness of her heart and loads of time trying to log in to amazon lol I owe money to her for buying the blu ray player for me which I'm very happy with.

Anyways thanks for helping out

I rarely go to brick and mortar stores in general as I'm essentially a recluse. If I am in town though, I will sometimes check stores if I have the time. Although for some reason, I always need to go to the toilet when I go to the manga section at my local Waterstones...yet as soon as I leave the section, I don't any more. It's weird.

Still, if not for blind buys in brick and mortar stores, I wouldn't have discovered K-ON!.
