Really? When? Love Hina is the only anime that I gave up watching half-way through the first episode. I simply couldn't stand any of the characters. Besides, why bother with Love Hina, when you've Negima which is infinitely better.
Like Negima but hate Love Hina? Bizarre. As far as I could tell they were pretty much the same thing...

Eiken - got bought it for xmas and its aweful, all of its fanservice borderline porn stuff
Haha, Eiken. Shows why you should never take things to their extremes :p .
Not my thing at all, but hey, some people love it.

I just want to cry.... why hate gravitation?
I remember when the first episode was shown at a club I go to people were throwing stuff at the screen and complaining really loudly... idiots. To answer your question though, I'm pretty sure most people hate it because it's a rather contrived gay romance. Personally, I quite liked it for the comedy.

One I'd say to avoid? Elfen Lied.
Reasons to buy it: - blood, fanservice, angst.
Reasons not to buy it: - story, characterisation.

Concerning Gravitation,i just felt that there are better shonen-ai and yaoi series out there.I felt the romance extremely forced and just having no depth.Just plain silly really.Though i must say,i do adore the music.

Mm, not going to argue here - the silliness was something I liked about it. If it was a serious, deep romance I wouldn't have watched it.

Gravitation's romance is not force, it is about realizing their love for each other that they don't want to admit. It is silly in a very good way. Some people love it and some don't, it's just a matter of preference really.

better yaoi such as? Anyway, I love Masara Minases's work. I got Lies & Kisses and it so hard to get hold off. Now I'm still waiting for Empty Heart which is like out of stock 4 months now since I've checked. i wonder why DQ is taking so long.....

Negima has good fights and plot line that's sort of good, along with magic and some other random crap thrown in for fun, plus it's got some Welsh kid in.

Because Negima is better! For all its faults, the first season of the Negima anime has more than one joke and more significantly it doesn't have either Keitaro or Naru. I simply couldn't tolerate either of them. Of course, the fact that Negima also has a plot helps too.

Elfen Lied is awful.

I agree, I bought the whole series in one go as I had heard such high praises, but when i sat down to watch it I only made it to ep 3 before giving up on it, I just couldn't see what people liked so I sold it back on ebay the next day

Ah, ok, thanks for explaining. I guess I didn't get far enough into either to notice the differences.

I don't know, like I said there's quite a few reasons why people would like it. It's a series that seems to be oddly polarising, though - hate it or love it.

I completely agree, the series are poles apart... and the less said about Negima!? the better.

I would recommend staying away from Shuffle!. I don't know why I watched it considering it's background... all I can say is I must have run out of other things to watch at the time. Surprisingly it started quite well and as a comedy was enjoyable but as the series progresses it turns into a serious drama (being slightly disturbing at times). The shift in genre just didn't seem credible to me. Towards the end I couldn't believe it was the series I started out with!

Another one is RahXephon. I like what it's trying to do but I just can't bring myself to finish watching it (I've been re-watching it recently). I get midway/three-quarters through and I just can't bring myself to watch anymore. I'm not sure what it is about it because I really do want to like it. The overall story is quite good though... actually maybe people should give it a shot, it's probably just me! :)

virus buster surge - completely f**king woofull

kai doh maru - soooo dull, story-wise and visually... just bad

sailor moon - just BAD... tho i wud like to see a re-make

rahxephon - its terrible, couldnt get passed the first disc :/

tenchi in tokyo - even for a hardcore tenchi fan this piece of... no word can describe is not in worthy of the bargain bin

theres more... but im bored now

Ergo Proxy, just couldn't get into it and the story was too slow

Sci-Fi Harry, a good premise, bullied kid gets psychic power to take revenge but he never seems to stop being a snivelling wining punk, not once does he just stand up to people

I dont like

Virus
Soul Taker
Tetsuwan Atom
Hentai ones
Blue Sub TV series (watch the original)
Oh, and I would never buy One Piece...(gets shot)

I tend to think of this much like GXP. Bears the Tenchi name but is completley different in everyway from the OVA's/Universe. But if you think of it like a stand alone anime its no too bad for what it is.

Yeah its more of a spin-off than an actual Tenchi Story. I love the GXP story, its the fiorst one I saw of all the Tenchis but I agree that Tenchi in Tokyo is a big let down
