Anime Limited have licensed 3 more Funimation titles, one of which is Noein on Blu-ray

FUNimation's content on Crunchyroll is mostly stuff that Crunchyroll had first and managed to arrange to keep hold of, like the first two episodes of Asobi ni Ikuyo and Attack on Titan. The only Anime Limited (UK) title I can think of is Plastic Memories and, since they haven't done it again, that was probably more on the Aniplex end.

The French @Anime lists Edinburgh as it's home office, so I'd assume the Gangsta./Prison School deals were at least overseen by Andrew. (Although Prison School had it's publisher later changed to Showgate, so I think CR had more than one deal for that show.

The point was more that Crunchyroll doesn't seem like a huge company, chances are, if AL or FUNi wanted UK home video rights (and CR still had them), all they'd probably need to do is ask and they'd get directed to the right person.

Looking at the different publishers who Anime Limited already have and are rumoured to have more titles from, as well as its appearance at Scotland At Loves anime, I wonder what the likelihood is of them picking up Psycho-Pass' second season and movie?

I think it's quite high. They have Expelled from Paradise and Chaos Dragon which were Urobuchi, but I'd be lying if I said I would buy it if they released it. I bet if you took Urobuchi's name off the credits, the reaction would be vastly different (though that relates specifically to the first season obviously)...

And indeed, reaction WAS different. Urobuchi isn't the series writer on Psycho Pass 2. I'd have to check, but I *think* that second series was written by Tow Ubukata. From what I gather, it's regarded as being much less impactful than the first season.

That said: More Psycho Pass? YES PLEASE. Would love a UK release of season 2 and the movie.

I haven't seen the second season, so can't comment on the quality of the writing, but unless the last 6 episodes of the first season majorly improve on the first 16 (which could be the case, the last Fate/Zero LN is the best of the four), I fail to see what the hype is about. There's some excellent design work and it's an excellent concept, but it's so poorly executed. The characters are all really really really stupid, none of them ask fairly obvious questions in the aftermath of a key event that occurs in episode 16 (hence my not making it past that point), and the one or two characters that are interesting never get any screen time because the show is too busy focussing on the **** ones. This is a show that thinks it's clever, but actually isn't, and has somehow managed to trick people into believing it is...

Yeah, I haven't heard the best reception for Psycho-Pass' second second either. I have heard more positive things about the movie though (and as well as me being curious about season two, I expect they'll be sold together anyway).

I think that's a problem almost every anime has, so eventually you become immune to it :p

When it's a bunch of characters who have supposedly aced a detective aptitude test and that we are repeatedly told are amazing detectives, that's not good enough...
