This isn't a full theatrical run, it's a single, brand-new 35mm print we've had struck and is available for interested cinemas to screen on a one-off basis to tour around - it's just a cool thing to do as part of our celebration of the history and heritage of the film (and as far as I'm aware nobody has done this with an anime movie before even though it's pretty common with classic film more broadly).
In short, it's really not taking resources or time away from anything else we're doing, we just think that it's an awesome thing to do for a film that holds a seminal part in UK (and western) anime history.
