that's why i'm asking, and you never know submit them to the BBFC now they might wave some cut's, maybe not i'm not completely in the know about how those decision's are made, but again that's why i'm asking @Hanners as he's the one who would understand if it's worth it or not. (and i've only seen urotsukidoji 3 as i bought a used copy recently at MCM).

Submitting something to the BBFC costs money, and not a trivial amount from what I understand. And everything that would be included on a disc release has to be submitted as well i.e. any extras, interviews, etc. AL would also need to have licensed it first before going this far. So this mindset of "just submit it and see what happens" isn't really feasible.

But I will admit to my own bias here--I wish Discotek had never released any of this and that it remained in the past. Them insisting they'd never release any of this type of anime and then doing Kite and then this and with each one saying there would not be any more made me think a lot less of them as a company.

This sounds like.i don't like this so no else should get to see it either.
 
I just wanted to express how happy I am with Anime Limited. I know there have been/ still are some problems, but if I look around my room there are so many cool anime that I would not have without them. I love that they distribute many movies, they are perfect if I want something short. I also love that they released some older or niche titles, like Kaiba, one of my favorites, and really looking forward to Blood plus. I really enjoy the art books that are regularly added to the special editions; to gaze at some amazing backgrounds, or learn more about the production when reading interviews. And if I have patience and wait until Christmas, its all quite affordable. Just wanted to share my thankfulness:).

Oh sweet baby Jesus, Finland belongs in the Schengen area! Gosh I hope they will also license and release the anime series, it's sequel and Final Stage.

Cool, I never heard about this distributeur before. Their Tezuka release looks awesome.. though a bit too pricy for me right now. Will keep my eyes on them:).

Do you guys know if there are other Europeon distributeurs that release anime with English subs?

I think the first change was known, maybe reported here previously by you and I see that's what the AL site still says. Is this one possibly related to Crunchyroll now releasing S1 in the US instead of Sentai?

The problem is that Anime Ltd's release is based on having both seasons together in one set across 3 discs, which is pretty much what Sentai Filmworks would do while Crunchyroll are splitting up the seasons which would have 4 discs.

There's just been no explanation on why this has been delayed. Would be nice to know so I can at least get a rough prediction on when it'll eventually ship out.
 
FYI for UK collectors based on personal experience this week- seemingly as part of the Royal Mail restructuring, anything ordered through RM will now be delivered by your local Parcelforce rather than letter post. Something to factor into purchases.

By far the worst news. Parcelforce drivers at my home and work are considerably worse than Evri drivers... its not even funny to joke about that
