Damn, that sudden standard 4K release reveal hurts, but thankfully my pre-order of the steelbook version from Rarewaves is practically the same price, so I'm less inclined to feel swindled on a personal bias.
 
Just got my Arcane Collector's Edition in the mail. While I haven't opened it, first impressions are pretty good. It was thankfully packed very well protected so it's arrived in perfect condition, but it's size is what really stunned me because I expected something similar to a standard slipcase. Put next to a standard amaray case you can really see how big it is.

Interestingly also, AL seems to have designed and included one of their standard back cover slips, which I wasn't expecting given this was a GKIDS release, but I guess they had the oppurtunity to include one for UK distribution.

While I haven't received a dispatch notice from AL, I received an e-mail from FedEx containing tracking information (I've confirmed legitimacy before clicking any links), and based on the shipper's address, I'm assuming that my Macross Plus Ultimate Edition has been dispatched (the website still lists it as unfulfilled at the time of this post).

Huh. The back cover says Danish, Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian subs, even though I don't think those were ever officially listed on AtA's store page. Can you check the discs to see if they're actually included? Thanks.

I missed the email today but I got the same email as you.
