Good to know the Cardcaptor Sakura movies are still on their radar, I guess I'll hold out a little longer then on importing the Discotek releases.
 
I'm just hoping the Naruto and Bleach sets are free of major quality errors. If subtitles are missing or are bad or if certain episodes do not work, or if AL's upscale is poor (for Naruto), then I will probably just get the US VIZ blu-rays for Naruto instead.

I haven't read of any major issues with the US counterparts on the Blu-ray forums (for Naruto that is, I know VIZ's Bleach sets are rather messy). But please AL, I know you can do this.

I don't envy that person having to read through hundreds of pages of complaints about quality control and delays to get up to date on this thread. 😅
 
My naruto set dispatched. Hopefully no quality errors.
Surprised the BLEACH: TYBW: Part 1 set hasn’t dispatched yet. Especially since it was meant to release on the 28th of this month yet naruto, which was planned to release in November has already been dispatched.

I was going to mention this earlier. You're actually getting a good deal on the BLEACH (2004) set (feel like AL have scammed Unlimited members/those who purchased it during the original EB period a bit here).

Bleach (2004) set 1 CE was £49.99 EB when it went live initially, £44.99 with Unlimited.

Now in the MCM sale it's £44.99 standard price - so if you're an Unlimited member, you can get it for ~£40. Not going to be too upset about £4, but it makes you question your Unlimited membership.
 
They used to be the same prices but I think Bleach CE was £50 on early bird and is now £45.
Which is a little annoying as it was a pre order and its only just shipped, but it'll do. Basically not really encouraging me to do pre orders when you can order later and before release (on release day) and get it cheaper.

I usually don't have any problems with AL's shipping but find it bizarre I was contacted first thing Wednesday to say Doan's Island had shipped but in reality it's only actually shipped now.
 
We really need ioss the customs charges are getting out of hand, I’d buy so much more if it was implemented. ATM I have to wait for sales so the customs fees don’t add up

It's more UPS fees being obscene. It doesn't help that An Post recently raised their clearance fee from €3.50 to €5.

If Macross Plus was shipped by FedEx as it usually would have been the FedEx clearance fee is 30% of the VAT when the VAT charge is under €50 with a minimum payment of €5, which would have been about €7.40 in this instance.
