I enjoyed the whole show. Hadn't seen Coyote Ragtime Show before, but i quite enjoyed it. NGE, I watched that cos I haven't seen it in a while.
Guyver!!! Ive been waiting for its release over here since I first heard about the remake nearly 2 years ago. Ive seen the whose series on fansub...
I dont understand why there is so much hate towards One Piece here? This is what happens when you let 4kids touch anime and ruin it.
As for the battle, my vote obviously goes for Nami. One Piece being one of my fave anime and all lol.
Although Escaflowne is one on my fave mecha anime, and...
Ive seen some of the english episodes of Bobobo, and i have to say that i didnt like them at all. Compared the the Japanese version, there were too many cuts/edits and story line, of what little there was anyway, was almost non existant.
The Japanese version i found really funny too, some parts...
My vote here goes for Sears. Although Faye is way hotter, Seras kicks more ass, so she gets the vote.
Tasker: Both are fantastic series, especially Bebop, i cant recomend this highly enough.
As for Hellsing, the TV series is pretty good, but strays away from the manga as it goes on. But the...
I watch, and read both these series and love 'em both. But clearly there's only one answer.
LUFFY FTW!!!
He is way stronger than Ichigo, and even with Ban Kai, Luffy's Gear 2nd will easily take care of that, no probs!!
I remember a few years back, 5ive aird an anime called Strange Dawn. According to animenewsnetwork its started its run on 21/01/2002. It was on weekday and Saturday mornings at about 8am.
They also showed Beyblade on Saturday mornings a few years back too.
Im not holding my hopes up for 5ive...
I remember when Speed Grapher got licenced that there were a few problems getting to licence for Girls on Film for the opening music.
I myself havent seen the American dvds, but according to Animenewsnetwork the opening music they used is "Shutter Speed" by Shinkichi Mitsumune.
I haven heard...
If it does have the jap audio on it then ill deffo buy it, as im intruiged as to what it will be like. I have a Streetfighter II dvd that i bought from spain once, it has the jap audio on it, but i refused to watch it because it isnt the full screen version that the uk recieved, It has the top...
What is so 'special' about that special edition of Streetfighter II? I know that the Chun-Li shower scene was originally taken out of the american version, and that it was added to the new special edition in america, also all the swearing and blood was taken out for the original american version...
The Fruits Basket dvd's were released 6-6-7-7. They got that many episodes per dvd because they used DVD9 dual layer dvds. Most companies use DVD9 nowadays to get more extras on the disc, FUNi/MVM just used the extra space for episodes instead of extras, to save money on dvd costs, i guess...
I will be getting all of these, especially My H!ME, good to see it finally has a UK release date.
Saiyuki ive really been looking forward to after reading the manga, though wouldnt it have made more sense of ADV to realease the first TV series rather than the movie??
Really now, is THAT it? Oh dear! I really dont see what all the fuss is about. The BBFC shouldnt be so pernickity about stuff and pull their finger out their ass and just release stuff the way the director intended it to be shown. Especially if its a masterpiece of art from Satoshi Kon.
This sucks, as weve been waiting ages for vol 3. This must also be the reason why MVM wernt at Memorabilia last week.
It looks like ill have to download a fansub version to see the whole eopisode
Ichigo all the way for the win. As for who the better swordsman is, by fay it is Guts, but Ichigo is backed up by his enormus spiritual pressure, so he would definately win easily.
Got my dvd today :)
I sent my faulty dvd off to Manga Ent. a few weeks ago and finally got the replacement in the post today.
The new dvd isnt faulty at all, which is excellent, cos ive been waiting to watch this vol for a while now.
I was also suprised to find in the envelope a free copy of...
You have to remember that most of Manga UK's catalog has uk dubs, only the stuff licenced and released within the past 5 years or so have used american va's. So dubbing in the UK for Manga Ent. isnt a new thing.
But now that they are deciding to use UK va's again, this can only mean good things...
