So Snow White is a FUNi UK title, gawdammit... This is how their release turned out, they somehow managed to do an even worse job than Warner Bros. Japan on the disc art. Timestamp: 10:48

Still rather disappointed on how the Japanese release for it turned out.
Indeed. (He also did a comparison for Reflection but the Internet Archive didn't save it.:()

You can currently still get the Japanese Blu-ray on...
Not that much for me to be honest.
Will Probably Buy
March Comes in like a Lion-I've rather enjoyed what I've seen of it so far (though I'm currently 2 episodes behind), so I'll probably definitely want it. AoA might not release it, and if they do, they'll likely cut the meatier stuff of the...
Same, especially given the show never got treated that well in English-speaking markets. Here in the US at best we got those postcards in the 5-part release that had shiny slipboxes, in Australia they got an artbox to fit the 5 parts and the OVA, and in the UK, it was similar to the US from my...
So I take it there is some content in your book that wasn't in FUNi's? Curious how much will be different, both are fantastic-looking releases though (I own FUNi's CE).
Very nice, now I don't have to worry about it possibly meeting the same fate as Mushishi: Next Passage (Still wish Aniplex USA would have done something, at least Madman put it out in DVD in Australia).
Kinda also noteworthy: TBS didn't allow simulcasts of their shows on CR until 2013. Those used to be exclusive to The Anime Network here in NA, no idea how it was for the UK back then (or if you guys were allowed simulcasts for those at all), but yeah, they're still pretty frustrating. Heck...
Indeed, and you can go on about them for plenty of things (Ex: They still won't let Sentai stream Amagi Brilliant Park Ep 13 on CR).

If you've got a few singles artboxes meant to fit 6-7 volumes (I've got a couple of those, Ultra Maniac being the only 7-disc one) or even this, those are probably even thicker, but yeah this is thick.
It's so beautiful and looks so much better than FUNi's release. Only thing I like better with...
Reminds me a bit of how big FUNi's is. Do we know the page count for this one? FUNi's was 300 and contained mostly artwork/illustrations with stuff taken from the booklets from the non-VC releases (adapted from the JP singles booklets) towards the end (mainly the interviews + a new one done for...
It's because of the smaller market size.

Re: Overseas Anime News & Announcements
Demon Lord Dante is notable in that Geneon spent so much getting it they needed to sell 30,000 units just to break-even on it. 36:00 in this ANNCast May Discotek not suffer as much, they probably paid a sane price for it.

Also maybe finally a date for the Strike the Blood BD?
And all this happened only a few days after I registered, hmm... Were they irritated an American like me was interested in stuff going on in the UK (mainly releases that are nicer than R1 releases I'd like to import)?
Also, this incident is reminding me of what happened to AnimeSuki in May...
