Hah, your Metropolis is in an Amaray Playstation 3 case (identifiable because of the blu-ray logo on the right upper corner instead of in the top center). I've gotten a few blu-rays like that.

And I honestly have more than enough bloomers now haha, thanks for the bloomer apprecation though! Realistically if I were to buy any now it would only be very occasionally from somewhere like Etsy where you can get expensive ones with more fancy patterned fabrics and combinations of colours, but I honestly don't feel the need I have so many cute clothes already! I did almost buy one pair (they were I think satin and turquoise) in an Amazon order a couple of months ago but cancelled it cuz it just didn't sit right with me given my commitment to buying less unneeded things as outlined in my previous post, and I had figured out something more practical I could buy instead to get the faster shipping anyway :)

Depends how old the PS3 game is. The style on the left is from the console's George Foreman grill/Spider-Man logo days. You start seeing PS3 games in the other style of box after the slim console was released, I think.

Ah yes. Should have checked all of them. Last of Us (late PS3) is the same as Metropolis. Seems it changed some where between late '09 (Uncharted 2) and early '10 (GoW III and GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City). Just realised the spine design changed too!

Reading the © on the back of Metropolis it's a Sony release, but from 2017. They must have had a few cases knocking around and wanted to get rid!

100% correct. For UK and EU PS3 games, there are two versions of the latter case type. Probably the majority of the games come in the same case as used elsewhere in the world, that has the logo on the right like that and inside has the triangle-within-a-circle hub that Sony has used since PS2. But a smaller number come in the case like Metropolis; same external appearance, but with the Amaray "yin-yang" hub design and the holes on the side for the security device to be inserted.

I do not know if there was also an Amaray hub version of the older case with the Spiderman font logo on it. I never had many games old enough to come in that case, and I got rid of the ones I had by swapping them out when I sold certain games.

Edit addition: @D1tchd1gger's two posts show the two latter variants. Metropolis is the Amaray version with the holes for the security device as can be seen with the appearance of the right side opening area, while GTA Liberty City is the version without that. Externally they look essentially identical but inside it's obvious with the different hub design and booklet clip design.

I just received my copy of The Ghost in the Shell Legacy Edition Manga Box Set yesterday. Wow, the set is bigger and heavier than I was expecting, it's pretty impressive - I don't buy or read manga at all, so this is a new experience for me. I only purchased it because it's Ghost in the Shell. I didn't get a chance to take any photos last night because I had company and was too busy entertaining. I'll work on taking some pics tonight.
 
On Tuesday I received the very first Manga set I have ever purchased, other than the Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind Deluxe Light Novel Box Set I picked up about 10 years ago. I purchased both sets from Amazon. I do not read or collect manga at all; I only picked this set up because it is Ghost in the Shell.

Below is a selection of photos of the box set; I will have to take photos of the 12 posters inside the poster box at another time, since they will all need reversed-rolled for a few days to make them flat for photographing. That will take some time and effort to flatten 12 posters. The last photo in this spread shows a size comparison of this manga set next to a standard Limited Edition anime box set. Enjoy!
