About one proper week left in September and still no news on Hathaway. I know we've been told here about specifics, but right now feels like I unintentionally monkey paw willed "It won't come out in September" into reality.

I wish we could get guests like this. It might not entirely fall on AL but if I recall we haven't had Gundam guests at something like MCM in 10 years.

Concerning Hathaway, something that feels relevant- Gundam Channel 'International' has started pushing the new show and as with Hathaway there's only an excited focus on America as a foreign market. If this translates to business, I can't imagine it's fun trying to manage this franchise for any...

To my knowledge, still no update on Hathaway yet. I am still wondering of it'll get a premiere event too. Bandai UK seem to have given up are just telling people to watch it on Netflix.

Pure speculation but based on recent changes in how AL do things, I wouldn't be surprised if they're prioritising wider audiences whilst Andy addresses us nerds. AL seem to have decided in the past 12 months they need a much more dedicated push beyond the otaku circles.

Curious if they'll do a premier event for Hathaway or if the Netflix upset has snookered that.

I mean AL sold us the imported Gundam NT and still did their own release later. It's one of the worst Gundam releases they've done but... Sunrise is weird about the franchise and I have to assume offering the import editions is brownie points for AL if nothing else.

There's the rub. I really don't mask how annoyed I am with how much focus and priority they put on Shonen Jump now (there was literally a booklet with SEED Freedom doing it!) but if it pays the bills... I really do respect the founding model for AL. It's why I get salty when I feel the Gundam...

So Gundam Base London confirmed the 12 piece Resource art badge set will be one design a month, starting with Wing Zero and to get it you need to exchange 5000 points, the equivalent of a £50 purchase. I feel this should have been separate from the loyalty points. Make it so spending 50 a month...

Hathaway whenever it's a dark scene:

We don't even have the theatrical yet and I'm wondering how I'm reviewing Hathaway. The mood is you either loved it or you're an idiot, including insisting if you liked certain recent Gundam productions instead that proves you're stupid.
