Oof. I've seen the updated animation and it's bad. They basically redid scenes to more rigidly follow Hirai and it's hideous. Case in point, there's a scene where Lacus is giving a relaxed natural smile. In the redo, her face is now this gaping void like she dislocated her jaw to eat a dog whole.

No news on Hathaway, Urdr Hunt or Endless Waltz yet. Plus we didn't get the import edition of the latter US Crunchyroll customers could order. I have...concerns.

The press release says Toho will be establishing their European branch in London next year. If you're committed to the market enough to set up the regional branch on F Off Island, it probably makes sense to acquire an established local brand that knows the market and has proved it can work...
