Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (PS5) and Team Sonic Racing (PS4)



I've played Xenoverse 2 a lot on other platforms so this won't be a new experience for me but it'll be nice to play through it with improved graphics and performance.

Team Sonic Racing I've played a little of on PC but as I don't play my PC much these days (it's getting old), I decided to pick it up on PS4, especially with Sonic Racing Crossworlds releasing later this year.

My Colors Within steel arrived this morning in a box rather than a bubble mailer but there’s still a dent at the top. Not sure whether to send it back and repurchase it from wowhd.

Had to do a quick bit of DIY when I realised my chest of draws were too small for the TV!
It's huge and I'm very close when sitting on my bed, so I might buy another Billy to match the one at the foot of my bed and put it there instead.

These all arrived, I love the light pink sparkly tights (am actually wearing them rn!) but the other pairs of tights are pretty meh to me, was rly excited about the rose key ones but they're burgundy rather than the vivid red shown in the photo, and the skirt is too big (they were sold out of my usual size and the one below that so I went for one above). Ah well, can't win 'em all, will likely return them as I haven't tried on any of the pairs of tights I wasn't happy with and the skirt only very briefly! The pink sparkly ones are really cute though

And this is likely to be my Pc for stuff that doesn't run well or not at all in linux as I was going to get a desktop pre-built system, but wanting to keep anything I get on the small side, I decided to get this considering the price of £450

This lovely large-format paperback includes both the original manga and the sequel. It's also surprisingly light, which should make it easier to read than the Poe Clan hardcover. That thing was like holding a slab of granite.

Besides, that isn't going to be for running everything since doom the dark ages is reported to be running on linux and any new self built PC isn't going to be contaminated with the vomit inducing mess that is windows 11.

I still need to read The Poe Clan and A Drunken Dream and Other Stories, I absolutely loved The Heart of Thomas and I have the old CPM DVD of They Were 11 which was a rly interesting film too

I got my hangers and they are fab, very well made and I have already moved the 20+ items of heavier weight stuff that I was keeping on the frustrating grip strip hangers onto these newer ones, I also got this really cute set of stickers, which work great on paper... I feel like bunbun is having an Evangelion moment

Was a crazy productive day as well, perhaps embiggened by my hanger success (and also powered by coffee), I also rearranged my books on my living room bookcase, I decided to make the reference/learning books more readily accessible and grouped them all together on the same shelf to encourage me to use them and learn/create/make stuff - I was particularly excited to be reminded that I still have some really fun art-making books for kids.. ngl the best ones are way more enjoyable than a lot of more "grownup" how-to-draw/paint books! Was gonna do some scrapbooking in the evening but ended up organising my craft paper crate (I knew all those T-shirt bags I kept from Shein and Temu would come in handy one day! I'm joking in that I already use them for other stuff but yea they are useful) and tidying my living room desk as well, am pleased to report that it no longer requires a team of body builders to wheel it across the floor as it's now much lighter XP

I have not got email yet from the game collection and I did ask them though chat but all I was told that it will despatch within the next 24/48 hours for delivery on release day.

I picked up Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun Limited Edition from MVM. I've only seen the first episode but I really enjoyed it and it was pretty cheap so it was well worth picking up.
