Whilst you're here, there's a few older titles on my notes that I suspect are also 'no longer on the slate'?

😭😭😭 Sigh. that's a huge letdown for me, after all this time waiting and waiting. I was so excited for the Blu-ray when you announced that license, but I guess it just rotted away... Alright, welp, guess I'll have to leave the forum now. No need for me to hang around here anymore, then. 🥺

Nah, I'm not really going to do that. I'm going to stick around and just start complaining big-time about everything, like everyone else on here, lol.... 😝

Well, at least I saved some fansubs for the series, since this was the only chance for it to ever be released physically.

Wasnt this on the "no longer on the slate" 1 or 2 years ago during the Q&A

Think it was something like - Andrews seen the same few people asking about it and doesnt want to disappoint but its been so long since it aired he doesnt think there is enough demand to justify the release so its very unlikely going to get a release

I imagine at the time they licensed it, they were still working with Aniplex so hoped to clone their disks. But Aniplex never released the set so would have to be a whole new disk author

Not enough demand added on to made it not worth it

Recall this being announced at the height of KanColle popularity.
 
So no news on when the Project A-KO moives get a release date and if it takes to long for them to get a release then I'm importing them from the US and anime limited will lose out on getting my money.

Apparently nowhere in Europe has news of GQuuuuuuX screenings. I'm likely off the mark (hope I am anyway) but given how disastrous the European release of SEED Freedom were I'm wondering if European chains just aren't interested. The UK release sounds to have gone fine but from what I heard from fans in places like France and Germany cinemas were selling tickets only to find they hadn't been sent the movie come screening time.
 
The show has no explicit release date yet, so I suppose its possible something might happen yet, but looking less likely to happen for a cinema screening.

Also, Witch Watch has a cinema preview run too, that's on March 16th in the US and its very similar to the Dandadan previews given its the same companies and licensor (I believe anyway). But, unless its announced soon, thats looks increasingly unlikely as the show starts in April.

@Hanners @teetoni we've asked about thing's you've licensed now how about thing's to potentially license. Would you be interested in licensing blue submarine no.6 (because I saw a bit of that one on toonami years ago and would like to see the rest)?

also maybe out of left field but would you be interested in licensing the bleach rock musicals particularly considering the new musical with the arrancar arc is on it's way in Japan (I have 2 of them on dvd from the time I went to Japan over 10 years ago but would love to have them subtitled, I appreciate there might not be much demand so you could make it a limited edition)?

Still waiting on a reply 9 days later. Really not impressed. 😡

I understand it would be busy during the Christmas sales, but we are half way through February now. It shouldn't be taking over a week to respond.

If you haven't done so send an email to the shop address, the last few times I've used the contact form on the website I've gotten no response from them, not even the auto response stating they've received you inquiry.

I sent them a email & received a auto response. I did try the contact us form first, but I couldn't get past the gatcha that pops up when you try to send the message.
 
@Hanners is there a fixed disc available for Kakegurui?
My CE seems to have the extras menu made invisible. You can’t argue that selecting the extras is a gamble as they’re always in the same place, so it’s simply annoying.
