I have to wait until the 14th for my Limited Edition release from NIS Europe. The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II (PS4) from The Game Collection.
Opted for the PS4 version in hope it would have a free PS5 upgrade like the previous games, which it does!

That's the version with the "remastered" video, all they did was sharpen it and a few other minor tweaks. I remember reading that the original release has better video (and nine discs instead of 6). Here's some shots of my original release Frontier set. I do like the slip case on yours, especially with Sheryl Nome on the side. I've got the 2 movies in the set with subs.Macross frontier series and 2 movies collection (no English subs)

yeh Deaf Crocodile put out some neat stuff, one of my favourite US boutique labels. I watched Tamala a long long time ago, back in the ".avi file that takes all day to download" days. can't remember much about it tho, think I've got it mixed up with Cat Soup which I saw at the same time. Was looking at the releases that had been put out by a small US boutique label called Deaf Crocodile and saw that they'd actually released an anime film, and a pretty obscure one at that, so I figured I'd try and get a copy. Luckily, someone was selling a new copy on eBay for around the same price as it would cost me to import it, but with less risk of damage since it was already in the UK, and zero risk of customs fees. Now that I've made the sacrifice, I await the announcement of AL putting it out here any day now.

I got my Frontier set for about $40 from suruga, your set is about $120-140. I just couldn't see spending more money than necessary especially since I finally got a Delta set last month for about $120. Honestly the only Macross series I'm interested in are +, Frontier and Delta. The earlier series are too cheesy and melodramatic for my taste.Ah right thanks. I did read that it had been remastered but I assumed that it was just the newer set, I very nearly got the nine disc version cos it’s really cheap nowadays but I need the shelf space and I’ve still got delta and 7 to squeeze in. I might still get the movie set with the subs, I only got this pack cos it was dirt cheap on mandarake.
This a movie I'm going to get a physical copy of to replace my digital one, when I went to the theater 2 years ago and saw it was how I discovered Psycho Pass and became addicted to the series.
I just finished watching 7 on Disney plus and got major tonal whiplash coming after plus. It grew on me eventually but it’s obscenely expensive on disc, even on dvd, so it might be one to skip for now.I got my Frontier set for about $40 from suruga, your set is about $120-140.
