Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society (dub)
As it was a stand alone story it has a much shorter run time, some 50 less minutes, that's not to say it's any less complex! There's about 3 or 4 different strands entwined in the central plot which does take a bit of untangling.
I think the art and animation were another notch up.

Individual Eleven is probably my favourite.
One thing I noticed looking through MAL though is that the 2 OVAs LM & IE were both redubbed with seemingly a different team. Only checked The Major, Batou and Aramaki, but all were different, but they did a pretty good job of replicating the originals as I didn't notice much difference when watching SSS, as the originals were all back.
Another thing I noticed is that Mary E. McGlynn wasn't the very original Major. I haven't watched it in a while, just before going to see the live action film, I think. Probably will after 2045 as a palette cleanser after all that CG!

Ah, this was the one part of the original adap that noticed was missing from season 1 of the new adap.

I've played Persona 5 already but since I have the BD for this special now thought I may as well watch it. I would say its a good introduction to the world of P5.

I notice they changed the order slightly by putting what was the OVA Border 4 up first. The rest seem to follow in the original order.
Cool factoid I noticed when checking the Japanese VAs this time. Motoko's VA as the younger version from ARISE also has a credit in the original film as Shoujo (Kusanagi)! So I'm guessing the voice of Motoko in her new body at the end of the film!

GITS SAC 2045 season 1- character designs and CG are the weakest part of it but ngl by episode 6 I was fine with it. Major and Batou are a charm as always. I think I do recommend it maybe after Season 2 is out though.
