Started watching some Region 1s I purchased 3 years ago

So first up is Sasami - Magical Girls Club episodes 1 & 2

Will watch the remaining 5 episodes on the first disc later

The Pilot's Love Song 2

First Superman and now Antonio Banderas shows up? Who next? Indiana Jones?

I adore the beautiful sunsets in this series, they provide the perfect backdrop for the story. Some interesting developments in this episode, and I really like Kal as a main character. Hopefully the rest of the show can continue like this.

Tonari no Seki-kun 2

All I know about shogi is what I picked up from The World God Only Knows, but even so that was the most epic shogi match I've ever seen.

Space Dandy - ep2

Kinda disappointed Scarlet didn't get more to do, but still fun and the reveal at the end of the ramen trail felt pleasingly Bebop-esque. Also a timely warning against the dangers of Space Twitter.

Good Luck Girl! (English Dub via Funimation BD) - Episodes 3, 4
I actually really enjoyed that series. For me It was that one title which you don't expect much from yet end up loving.
I also thought the English dub was easily the best dub from Funimation in ages.

I agree on the dub it's very good. The dog episode was pretty funny especially the odd ending. I found the post-credits scene to be quite funny especially on Episode 3 where she was suddenly cut out since she was bragging about how she's getting more screen-time.

Heh, I've been meaning to watch that for years.

Witchcraft Works 2
Yup, still good fun to watch. The presence of an experienced director like Tsutomu Mizushima definitely seems to have contributed to the above-average execution of action and comedy here.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but since it's viewing related - has anyone made it through TECHNOLYZE? I've been curious but also warned that it's relentlessly grim.. Is it that bad?

At the moment I'm working my way through series 2 of The World God Only Knows.. I must be very infantile because I just can't stop laughing out loud at the damned thing.. Anime creators have such a keen sense of comedy timing and delivery.. Marvellous stuff haha! 8)

Legend of Galactic Heroes - Episodes 3 & 4

Buddy Complex - Episode 2

Better but still a little underwhelming.

Space Brothers - Episode 89

I continue to still be completely engaged by Space Brothers.
