When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace episode 2.

So they're all in love with him for no apparent reason. *sigh*

I'll give this another episode before deciding whether to drop it, but I found this one particularly off-putting.
 
SAO II - ep 15

Hmmm, what to make of this new arc then? For starters, it's nice to get back to ALO for a bit, even if just to see all the old characters in action again. It's a bit of much needed lightness and fun after the seriousness of GGO. That said though, this ep felt super, super cheesy and in points reminded me of all the worst parts of the much maligned ALO arc. Also, did they really need to fill this ep with two mega-infodumps? I was practically on the verge of snoozing off.

On the more positive side - the new OP music and title sequence absolutely rocks.

Fate Stay Night - UBW - ep 2

So, the first normal length ep. I felt like they kind of glossed over a little of the stuff they could have developed between Rin and Shirou - I remember in the original she feels so swept up and in debt to him she doesn't even know how to handle it, whereas here it's just dealt with in a couple of lines. The first ep did a lot to paint Rin as a more sympathetic character, but I felt like that wasn't really carried through as much here, aside from the tea-making scene, which I loved.

Will be interesting to see how they handle Illya. I did like this ep how they very much hinted back a lot to Fate / Zero with Kirie.

The intro sequence was removed in Season 1 (it was part of the ALO light novel arc) and thus we ended up with a bit of infodumping. The mini-arc should last 2 more episodes at least.

This episode was incredibly funny, but I do agree with VoxPhantom that the whole "everyone loves him" was pushed out too quickly. At the very least, it should have been a gradual thing over the series. I also didn't like how aside from the supernatural element being the catalyst of this episode's misunderstanding, it wasn't really brought up at all, effectively making it a generic slice-of-life. I'm in the same mindset of waiting on the next episode before deciding to continue this series, or drop it.
 
Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works ep 2.

Ronja, the Robber's Daughter ep 1-3. Goro Miyazaki is clearly being inspired by his fathers works. This series takes it's time and revels in some of the simple joys of life and childhood. Definitely has that 'Ghibli' feel to it, except for the cg animation which Hayao would never approve of.
 
Robotics;Notes Episode 1-6: Not sure entirely why but I really got caught up in this today. Maybe it was just the combination of Aki and her adorable optimism and Kai doing as little as possible but I really took to them both straight away. Had only been planning to watch one episode but before I knew it I'd finished the disc.

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works Episode 1-2 Little Illya with huuuge Berserker behind her! Don't know why but it just was a great moment when she appeared. Knew it was coming but it just hit me all over again, especially now with Fate Zero and her being so adorable and tiny.

Thank you so much Mangaranga for the guest pass for Crunchyroll so I could watch these! Great not having to watch ads and being able to see the latest episode of F/SN. Looks like I'll be signing up at some point now I can really see the benefits :D

I can't look at Illya in the same way after watching Fate Kaleid Liner, and her 'relationship' with Shirou in that.
