Amagi Brilliant Park - Episode 3
Fate Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works - Episodes 0 & 1
The Seven Deadly Sins - Episodes 1 & 2

The shows I've picked up so far all seem to be pretty good. Certainly started things off better than the last few seasons.
Now I've got three weeks worth of Akame Ga Kill to catch up with...

Terra Formars (Japanese Dub) - Episode 04

No censorship in this episode. And probably the best one out of the four so far.

Judging by the post credits scene, could they adapt Chapter 2??

Can you confirm that the audio for the Japanese tracks are okay? e.g. No issues with the audio sounding really tinny and weak in comparison to the Eng/Fr ones.

Where are you watching The Seven Deadly Sins? I though Netflix were not showing it until much later.
Magic. I'm watching it the same way as Amagi Brilliant Park and Psycho Pass 2.

Valvrave - Episodes 1 & 2
Gargantia - Episodes 1 - 4 (Dub)

I watched part of the first episode of Viz's BD for Gargantia and the picture quality was pretty damn poor. It looks a bit washed out with noise and banding everywhere.
I actually ended up dumping the discs, extracting and converting the English audio to FLAC and muxing it with a BDrip, as well as editing a Songs/Signs track. Made for a far better viewing experience with no issues whatsoever.
Can't tell whether it's the Japanese side supplying crappy masters or crappy encoding these days - although going Viz's previous track record I'm guessing the former here.
It's kind of disappointing that the video is pretty poor considering the show, at least from what I've seen of it, is pretty damn good. The dub is pretty good too.

Gargantia of the Verdurous Planet (English Dub) - Episodes 02-04

I like this show (and also the Opening and Closing songs), glad I ordered this set.

It's a bit of a shame you had to basically make your own version of the show though, we seem to be getting to the point where we should not pre-order stuff anymore incase they drop crappy video quality on us.

Terraformars ep 4

I don't get phased by a lot in anime, but I found Sheila's death in this ep genuinely unsettling. It just felt that little bit too close to torture porn as she choked out her last trying to tell the captain she loved him. I still find quite a few elements of this show distasteful, and it does look 'horrid' in a way, with all the washed out colours, but at least there was no censorship this ep. Probably the best of the bunch so far.

Which then begs the question how do I know if it's worth buying. The likes of Bluray.com and Fandompost reviews pretty much never say anything worthwhile regarding video. I mean Psycho Pass for example has 4.5/5 for Video Quality on Bluray.com!

Must be Gen Urobuchi's Wild Ride with that dance sequence.

Probably one of the most shameless (albeit pretty tame) bits of fan-service ever. I can't remember how old Amy is supposed to be, but that scene always seemed to fit very awkwardly with the rest of the series.

Rail Wars! (Japanese Dub) - Episodes 11-12 (Complete)

Looks like they forgot to animate the lips correctly at the end of Episode 12 (18:30 min point).

Sword Art Online II (Japanese Dub) - Episode 15

Caliber arc has begun. It's a short mini arc in the light novels so it should end in about 2-3 weeks time for the anime version. The new opening and closing songs are great too.
